World of Warcraft News - World of Warcraft: Legion will be arriving on the wings of Demon Hunters in less than two weeks. The signature weapon for Demon Hunters is a warglaive similar to those carried by Illidan himself. In a new Azeroth Armory, Hollywood blacksmith Tony Swatton forges a warglaive that any Demon Hunter would be proud to carry. Check it out!

    Every time I see one of these vids I want to take up blacksmithing.

    Eh, at least it resembles the artwork this time. Of course no one ever really used such a thing, and if it would weigh 100 kg nobody could reasonably swing it, but if they can't make it remotely work like it's supposed to be, as in, actually cutting things (e.g. the ice block, or a twig), why make it metal at all?

    I suppose it's silly to point out that it's a demon who wields it? Or this ...

    Well, According to lore the blades are fashioned from the demon teeth of azzinoth so maybe using a material like ivory would of been more lore friendly, but 'm not sure of the combat effectiveness of that as i'm not sure if bone or ivory has been used in RL history?
