For as long as I can remember, I was always playing some type of videogame. Some of my earliest adventures were with Pajama Sam, Spy Fox, Putt-Putt, and the Backyard Sports crew. From there, I gravitated towards the consoles of my childhood - the Game Boy Advance, GameCube, and PlayStation 2 to name a few. But it wasn't until I became a new student at Ravenwood that I truly experienced a game like no other.

Basically clicking away text windows ruins every MMO, try to have fun instead of rushing things. Without story and lore all there is left is a bunch of mechanics.

W101 is meant meant for all ages and genders. The majority of the players are quite young. I've been playing since 5th grade and I still continue to play the game and I am nearing my college career haha. With that being said, it is a very entertaining game. Yes, it has PvP. Many people, however, claim the PvP system is controversial and a little broken.

My first day - April 25th, 2010 will always be one of the most memorable days in my life; the first day I joined Wizard101. Those first few years were just complete, but fun, confusion. I was getting used to the game and understanding it more. I didn't know what damage, or resist, or accuracy was. In fact, I understood critical and how it could hurt the boss more. So I focused on critical. The first day I legit understood the game, was when a friend told me to go do a dungeon called Waterworks. Waterworks will now be the turning point in the game for me and everyone else, always. After 6 and a half years of still playing and loving it, I am so thankful for KingsIsle, MMORPG, and Wizard101.

I like the game for the most part, but once I got my characters into their 50's, the pace of advancement became too slow and tedious for my tastes. Granted, most MMOs make me feel that way, with few exceptions. Thank you City of Heroes, Star Trek Online and World of Warcraft for being the only MMOs where I enjoyed character advancement at the high end of the game. Wizard 101 still remains one of my favorite games of all time thanks to its turn based combat, relatively drama free community and despite its cash shop, manages to reward you well for playing the game.

I remember this game as the best i've ever played, march 9th 2009 whenni logged on for my first time. I remember that rainy day as the best spring day filled with sun and joy, exploring unicorn way and chatting with people. I always found it the most fun just relaxing and running around, about never questing. I gained new friends from different timezones and had thd best time with them. At school i was bullied so this game was my guardian angel and the only thing making my day. I can't help but shed some tears thinking about when i started playing this game. Thanks a lot KingsIsle for making my childhood the best it could have become

Evan DreamWeaver. As my first character name. To all my friends at wizard 101, thanks for the quest help and conversations we had.

I'm 50, my son got me interested in Wizard a few years ago. At first I just wanted to help him but then, I was slowly but surely drawn by trying to reach that next level, the next world, crafting, pet training and then came fishing! This game has so much to offer and keeps me interested for hours!! The developers are keen to listen and sometimes implement the players suggestions! I love it!!

Oh my gosh, Rensta, please don't think this is just a game for girls or little kids! I came to Wiz in my 50s after another game I loved went offline. Wiz filled the gap and I've been playing ever since - and now I'm in my 60s! The game gets more challenging as you level up and the developers are always adding new things to keep it interesting. I have met many adults on the game and have built solid friendships with several of them. I've also seen families playing together. So don't think it's just a kids game - there's something for everybody on Wiz!

Started playing in July, 2009. I was seven.
2016. I'm 14 and still playing it. It's too good to turn away.
