    Ooooooooo, almost had it. Just sub in Star Citizen for WoW for most anticipated, add in BDO as "best" and figure out a way to add NMS in there. Shit, just put it in as "Best Multiplayer". Do that, re-submit and you'll break the Internet.

    BDO should have won for "Best Pay-to-win" game or "Friendliest to Hackers".... best in show is just comedic.

    BDO went from 'Pay To Win " to " Pay to SHOW award " it seems .
    Putting BDO in this list is like calling No Mans sky multiplayer

    I know the MMO business has been slow lately, but if BDO won best-in-show, it either had no real competition or you basically just performed the equivalent of awarding The Room the "best film" award or Taco Bell the "best restaurant" award.

    I took Best in Show as meaning the entire experience of the BDO booth was the best. The physical setup, decorations, ect.. as well as the game presentations.

    Well you cant say BDO isnt a gorgeous game. It looks as good as it is frustrating to play.

    Poor BDO haters. For a fleeting moment I think about them and feel sad. Then when I can't hold it in any longer, I just laugh and laugh and laugh. Then I go about the rest of my day.

    Every critic is someone who wants to enjoy the thing being criticized. Otherwise, why bother criticizing it.

    It is a beautiful game, but still it has no end game in my mind.  Most of us don't hate the game, but it does deserve the criticism it gets.  The pvp is probably some of the worst pvp I have experienced, so that certainly can't be end game.  What is?  None of the new things coming down the pike are either.  Guess we will just have to wait for the developers to develop it or not.

    As to these mobile games, tablets are ok for them, but about the only thing I can say about any of them on a phone is ROFL.  Screen is way TOO small.  You'll end up cross eyed attempting to play them.

    Tyranny and Gwent are a couple good picks. The rest of that list is a bit sad. I wasn't there though.

    lol ikr, it wasn't awarded "best game that made fans cry this year" like some here seem to think.

    Taco Bell is the best! That's why in the future all restaurants are Taco Bell :P. I totally agree with a previous poster if WoW and BDO are spotting on that list it's going to be a bleak year : /

    Monetization is one thing, the gambling gear progression is another dealbreaker for me. And I would like to see more PvE content. I can only faceroll grind mobs so much before I get bored.

    Well at least there is one thing on that list that I am actually really interested in, Tyranny. It is a game made by a developer that has proven themselves.

    As someone who has been waiting 7 years to scratch that MMO itch... seeing WOW and BDO as most anticpiated and best in show is extremely disheartening.
