havent played in a while

in Guild Wars

hey, im just wondering, i havent played this game in months, not sure why, but how is it doing? are a lot of people still playing and is it mature? just wondering and wanted to check up on this game.

    I stopped playing this game a few months ago, too.  Then I went back on about a week ago, and the change is just amazing.  First of all, I started out in a place I've never heard of called, then I looked at the map and I was totally confused about where to go to do what.  Apparently it was some kind of safe place where you can learn about different skills and classes.  All of the arenas have been changed around, even the Hall of Heroes.  There are also faction points now, incase you quit before those began.  When you kill other players in pvp arenas, you get faction points to buy skills, weapons, runes and upgrades.  One good thing they added was that now we are able to watch guild battles live.  To be honest, I'm really disappointed with what the game has become.  I started when the game first officially came out and I thought it was wonderful.  Now its so easy for anyone to get to level 20 without even trying.  There is no originality anymore with battles because everytime someone thought of a really good build, the programmers found a way to make it weak and now they even give you preset builds.  But of course if you enjoyed it before, maybe you can still enjoy it.  The graphics are still really amazing and its all in all basically still Guild Wars.

    Yeah a lot has changed and it is still a great game...
    I like wathcing the guild battles for strategy and build but they are not live lol 15 minute delay but you get the point have fun!::::31::

    2 new settlements have just been added into kryta today, so more to see.

    its changed a fair bit man :S

    like many others i too quit for a short while and when i returned alot of things were different :S

    there are more people playing now then before.. worste of all still all kids lol

    Their were always preset builds you can play as.  If your talking about the factions event, new chars came with skills only for that event.

    It was always super easy to get to 20.  If anything it's harder now because you don't get auto 20 when you ascend.

    It only became easier to get new skills, this became much easier as they made it a fixed amount of exp/goal after 20 and added faction points.

    To me it seems the same game, just more things to do.

    They also added in a whole line of lvl 20 quests named sarrows furnace and titan quests.

    The maturity lvl is the same, I doubt it could get much worse unless they started giving the game away to all WoW players for free.
