I agree. . after KTOR 2 I was dissapointed.  I liked the depth but so many glitches..  Same could be said for Fallout3 NV.  I guess the more complex the systems (which I like) the more tricky things can be.  Loved it all though and will always support someone trying to do something more in depth.  As long as they deliver a game of course :)

"where you are no hero and no angel. In a world where you are one of the strong right hands of the big bad, what will you go on to be? What do you want to be? Will you make amends and bring back hope to a world beaten down and crushed underfoot?"

Doesn't that imply that you can be "the hero/Angel"?

As long as they've figured out how to build a set of game mechanics that aren't totally confusing or broken, unlike Pillars of Eternity, then I'm on board for this.  I really didn't like the game mechanics in PoE, and somewhere in the third act I realized that I'd made poor character choices up until that point.  Unwilling to start my character over again and retrain everything for Estocs instead of useless Bastard Swords, which are truly useless by the third act, I just quit.

Let's hope they spent more time on the back this time around.

Have to admit that I didn't finish Pillars either. Not because it was bad, actually had tons of fun, but I just kinda did at a certain point. Perhaps because my party had become so ridiculously powerful through farming the special dungeon before I finished the story.

Anyway, really looking forward to this one. The magic system sounds great indeed, those artifacts do excite me as well.

Obsidian games consistently rank very high on my enjoyment meter. KOTOR2 is an all-time high despite the bugs. I was lucky never to experience many of those in Fallout:NV either, which places it even above FO3 for me.

    Will definitely be getting this.

Wait you played the game and watched the demos and didn't even get any video for us?!?! How lame.

Does the spell system allow one to shape shift like the Druid ability in PoE if so I'm there if on the other hand its just limited to nuking and healing then Bah!

Your character is kinda Judge Dredd (judge, jury and executioner) in the game. Nothing stop you from being a proper judge. For example, at e3 they demonstrated a quest where you can falsely accuse someone to gain favor with one of the conqueror faction, but you can also exonerate that person and lose favor with the conqueror faction.

The reviewer may have had to sign an agreement prior that no video is allowed to be posted. Anyway, if you've played PoE you'll have an idea of roughly how the game will play.

I've always loved spellcrafting in games as well as items that level up. Looking forward to finding out more about both of these in Tyranny.

I also always lean heavily toward helping the common folk against the tyrants. I played SWTOR as a light-side Sith. Will probably do likewise with this one.

I played "The Old Republic" as a light side Sith! My group kept picking the dark side choices and I always picked light side. It was confusing to them.
