Beware the latest Windows 10 update

The anniversary update caused some peoples PC's to randomly freeze, the latest update KB3176938 is supposed to fix that bug.  I was not affected by the bug until I installed the latest update, at which point my PC became almost unusable, taking upwards of 5 minutes to respond to mouse clicks and on occasion throwing up messages that windows itself had stopped responding.

The bug affected people who had moved some critical folders ( documents etc.) to a second logical drive so if this is you then move them back to their default locations before installing.  If you are affected by the bug after the latest update hold down shift while selecting restart and use system restore to roll back.  Microsoft appear unaware of the problem with KB3176938 but I and I am sure many others will soon inform them.

Mine was doing some funky stuff after this latest update, but it seems to have unfunked itself

Glad to hear your PC is now unfunked. Now if only people could unfunk themselves like your PC the world would be a much better place :)

The last update actually fixed the micro freezes I was having.  Nvidia also gave out an upgrade around the same time so maybe that helped.

Mine is actually fine and I moved my Pictures folder to a different drive backed up on OneDrive. Maybe it's with Documents which I had moved, but moved it back.

The good idea of MS to make Win10 an OS that shall be continuously developed and upgraded...

Will come with the nightmare of do releases without causing any issues on the ecaton of different hardware configurations, their drivers and versions the OS runs on. It's fun.  B)

I had issues with my wireless AC adapter after the anniversary update.  PC would freeze and not respond. . unplug adapter. . all good. . I reverted to the previous build but I think you can only do that for 8 days or something.  I guess they fixed it in that time.  I haven't had issues since.  I am keeping my eye out for another OS though.
