  Probably they're just spectators... or a subdivision of the Helsinki Committee for Boss Rights and they're there to report this injustice

  Four-on-one... Samsu Nasiru (the golden golem) would love a similar "fair" chance
  
  (but golem too plays dirty, just check those unfortunate players next to his head, they're actually en-route upwards... )
