There has not been a date given so how could they be late. Would you prefer them rush it out the door unfinished and full of bugs, or take the time to make it a complete game. I would prefer they take all the time they need to ensure its not another SWG at live date. The problem was there were tons of people like you trying to rush them into production when people like me were saying no take ur time make it right the 1st time around. As we all know SOE listened to the children instead of the adults and you now see what a mess of a game that is.
Hopefully Icarus is more clever than SOE and won't listen to impatient children. I can wait for a good game. I hope everyone else will support Icarus in doing what is proper and be patient with that extremly creative team of devs.

Those people are usually called "managers". Or sometimes, the budget is getting short and the company has to release despite remaining bugs, in the hope that enough fans will be forgiving and buy the game anyway.
Or sometimes the bugs are the the core foudaitions of the game code... *coughneocron* I'd still pay for this game because even if it comes out later than we hoped or even expected its way ahead of its time. i'd just have to cry until they finnally make it though
Heh, Neocron... superb in concept and atmosphere, so I played it for a bit more than a year despite the bugs. And they actually improved somewhat over that time, the client crashes got less frequent. But in the end, the crappy netcode still drove me to cancel my account
