You mentioned people asking about final wipes. Have the developers given any response or info on that?
One thing I noticed that I don't like the sound of is that premium subscription status is on a per character basis. Is this the type of game where you only really need one character?
If you buy one of the founders packs is there a safe place to store the loot before you go out and get ganked? It would piss me off to create a character and then immediately have all my stuff stolen the first 15 minutes I'm trying to figure things out.
Can you get your horse stolen or killed?
At first I hated this but then it made more sense to me. You can pay with it with in game currency, which apparently at the moment is not too hard. (These things can always change which is why I am not in love with "premium" etc.
It does increase your dependence on others for higher tier play, but because your premium character will have a boost you can cover a lot more skills / areas of the game. I found at the beginning of the game that having premium meant that I harvested WAY too may resources that I could then sell for silver. . which then might pay for premium? Maybe on a second character and I pay cash for the first?
It is waaay too early for me to comment on how much it impacts later in the game but I would imagine even though I play "casually" (more than I should though), I will not mind it. I will really only want to level one character likely with more skills than several with a focus that are not premium. It won't give me any advantage to get it on a second character since you only play one at a time anyway. It is not like a skill point buy system where you earn points and unlock stuff. If I want a skill I can level it as fast on my main as I could on a secondary character if I am not mistaken.
Is there a cap on the number of things you can unlock? From what I can tell the cost just gets really high to get higher tiers so you are better to focus in one area. Playing a second character or your main to level something doesn't seem that it would make a difference unless you have a clone to play both at once I could be wrong on this though.

I believe all gold you purchase or spend in beta are also restored at launch.
