Gotcha. maybe but I doubt it. that style of 3rd person view I often find distracting
GTA is kind of Quentin Tarantino, Mafia is kind of Francis Ford Coppola and much more story based.
Both are open world games. GTA is more interactive with the environment.
ah that is unfortunate. I dont like story based games I think GTA is too much so in fact. so I doubt I would like this.
GTA is awesome just interacting with it as a sandbox. Never touching the story.
Personally I love a good story.
I love a good story too. Just never in my games. I want to pay attention to the story. My brain and my body react different while in the two separate states (state of consuming a story and state of interacting with an enviroment) and for me the two have always been far more enjoyable if separated. I can give the story my full undivided attention, take breaks when I want to and not be forced to interact a certian way in order to have the story move forward I find that to be a huge immersion killer for game play AND for the story.
I do think if you extract a good game story you could make it better as a stand alone narrative.
Please do not respond to me, even if I ask you a question, its rhetorical.

Otherwise I loved it and I'm looking forward to Mafia 3
I hope this one is longer and I hope they add mouse steering.
