Injured during "fun" time

I'm just wondering how common this is -
I injured the family jewels during coitus with the wife. Nothing kinky just bad positioning and I was just dealing with it.
Several days later I'm still tender down there and every once in awhile there's a twinge of discomfort. I have a physical soon, but I'm wondering how common this is? Not like I can ask a bunch of guys at work.

Given how lazy most people are, combined with average coitus time (~6mins), I'm gonna guess not very common. Would guess that muscular strain is most common, bruising likely to be less common unless you have massive bollocks. Least likely, but most painful, would be a twisted ball. Might need to consult a doctor if you've had this happen!
Whatever the cause, good luck! I used to race dinghies when I was younger (sail boats) and during heavy weather it was very common to injure the jewels. You'd be leaning out of the boat to balance it, things would "drop", then you'd slide back into the boat during a manuver and trap stuff between thighs and side of boat. Very painful!
Luckily I've not sailed much as an adult so injuries are very rare.
