Xim4, Venom X or Hori Tactical Assault Commander for PS4

I don't play shooters so don't come screaming and condemn me or anything for asking about this since I am not cheating I just want to play Playstation games with the mouse and keyboard controls.

I was playing Ni no Kuni and I got a massive headache because the controller was so jerky and how silly was I that I had actually forgotten I had an Eagle Eye and I connected it and voilà headache solved. I swear I cannot understand how people can control the thumb controls without getting ill. 

I really love Final Fantasy games and I was looking at Final Fantasy 15 which is only coming on the PS4 and not PS3...boo. So if play the game and want to buy a PS4 (maybe can persuade my husband that its Christmas and birthday gift although I don't celebrate Christmas but I can celebrate for cool gifts) and one of the above which should I get for playing JRPGs and games that are not action or shooters. I play basically RPGS and may be adventure games and games like Atelier .

I read up but all references seem to be about shooters and I was hoping someone has a better insight on these devices for  simpler use and one that merely allows me to convert the controller to mouse and keyboard without the added FPS precision.

    It isn't harder for you with a keyboard and mouse for an RPG? I feel like it makes it really spread out but if you really want something solid, the XIM4 was really great when I used it. Since they are all designed around FPS games you will always end up getting the precision focus. The PS4 has native keyboard and mouse support if the game was designed to support it, so FFXIV and Warthunder are the two games I've seen that you are able to use a mouse and a keyboard just plugged into the console it was super cool.

    No it is more intuitive which may sound weird but it honestly is for me. I just remap to WASD and "X' is space bar and "O'' is escape only triangle and square is moved to F and R which is not so great . L1 is lmb and R1 is rmb .The main issue is the way the movement you make with the mouse for the camera position does not move crazily like they do with the controller nor does my character move around awkwardly. 

    Anyway I was leaning towards the XIM4 thanks for confirming.

    Good thing my birthday is close to Christmas. We hardly celebrate Deepavali so can guilt trip hubby lol.

    I was not sure if I placed this inquiry in the right section should have been in hardware. You can have it moved  sorry

    Oh yes the Hori must have the game to support it so that one should have been excluded altogether. That makes the choice even easier then unless someone knows another device I might use .

    The cronusmax is another option, I haven't personally used it but I know a few people who like them a lot. It might be worth looking into.

    Cronusmax okay I'll check it out although aside from FFXV there isn't anything much I cannot get on the PC on PS4. There will be Persona 5 though  next year.
