World of Warcraft News - Blizzard is keeping its promise to World of Warcraft players with today's arrival of the Legion v7.1 update that includes the updated Karazhan mythic dungeon, an overhauled Nagrand PvP arena, 20th anniversary Diablo-themed game items, new mounts and much, much more.

    Even though there are various things i don't like about the xpack, i am still tempted to get back.
    All these back and forth discussions in the forums got me to a point where i think that i really have to play it myself to get an opinion.

    But then, money is also quite tight atm...so no Legion for me.

    just pay with gold I don't have legion I just play low level pvp 19,29,39 easy to make 40k gold a month messing around. will get legion when it goes on sale black Friday maybe. worst part would be you would need to plan 1 night a week to farming some old raids but at 100 you just run pull everything to 1st boss and kill everything in 1 pile repeat 2nd boss repeat etc

    Loving the new expansion so far. Probably the most fun in wow I have had in years. Blizzard definatley realised something needed to be changed, and they definatley delivered.

    End of the day after nearly 12 years of wow, not everyone is going to like it, and will not like anything blizzard does. That is just normal and part of human psychology.

    Obviously like with anything in life nothing is perfect, whatever that means. There can still be faults with every aspect of the new expansion. That doesn't mean for me it isn't any good.

    My advice to anyone is just try obit out and see if you like it. If not that's all good. I can understand if people love wow or don't like wow anymore. In my opinion Blizzard produced a very good quality exapansion, nothing ground breaking or revolutionary. Solid quality.

    The expansion is great and the added rolling patches are the way to be, if they can keep it up.

    I unsubbed last week as I am totally burned out on MMOs, bad timing because it really is a good expansion.

    Anyone thinking about it, I believe you can trial a level 100 character now for free, so you can get somewhat of an idea of what end game is like.

    Not everyone is playing on murica servers. It is shocking, but there are other servers and even countries. In eu we even have dragons!

    For instance, in the Land of the Dragons across the great sea wow tokens are sold for 65-70k gold.

    Finaly Blizzard made an expansion worth coming back to. I can finaly leave my private server and play with a good ping and high population.

    Yeah it's a really good expansion, levelling was great and tons to do at 110. Feels like Wrath WoW again.

    Probably my best ever are Wotlk, then both MOP and Legion. Great expansion, big world, quality questing, many innovations, even small one, gorgeous graphics, .... Actually compared to any other MMO there were no bad wow expansions, but this 3 for me truly excel.

    From others I also love Swtor (from time to time I'm exchanging Swtor and Wow on throne :-) ), TESO, GW2 and Rift. Then list ends for long.

    I agree.  I actually really liked MOP.  It felt like something different, i like the mood and atmosphere of the zones, and the questing and finding rares.  This isn't a view shared by most, but in my opinion, Blizzard did a good job with Mop even with the content drought during the final raid patch.

    Legion is definitely up there as one of the best expansions and has really brought life back into the game.
