> No separate roles to buy only whole expansive packs of Souls
> Need to spend $300 to get the complete game is crazy
> Emtpy servers just a few big guilds left
> Instant Adventures is the only thing people do together
> SoulWalk for $$$$$ is unbelievable too
Starfall Prophecy should include everthing released like Guild Wars 2 does it.
Its just a Expansion for veterans , new players get nothing if they buy it.
Americans and Europeans do not fall for the Asian greed and money milking menatlity.
Overall the whole complete RIFT game with everything included should not cost more than 49.99€ or Dollars.....

Earring Slot is open now with out needed money, and Trion can't make up there main what to do with it.
$300 is not needed to complete the game, If you want everything now in the first day yes will cost someone money.
Not many Emtpy Servers not sure for the EU side of things. NA not doing so bad leveling will feel dead, is like that in most mmo when most everyone is max level. Anyone new pretty much not coming in waves, will feel that the servers are dead when questing.
Instant is not only things people do together, thats just a lazy way with out asking in chat.
SoulWalk is free the first time with out a cooldown. Yes does cost money for people that are lazy don't want to keep running back. This part I don't see a problem.
Thing I want Trion Put in Srarfall Prophecy is the Ear slot in the new packs so people not buying 2 things to get started quicky.
American and Europeans do fall in to traps, like no man sky. Good marketing people, and will fall for anything. But I don't agree what Trion is doing with Rift sometimes. GW2 makes more money off lazy people don't want to grind. No one really gets everything with out a some type of walls for people that have no time to grind. So they trade in gems for gold to buy stuff off the AH, or gold to gem for people that want something off the cast shop with out paying, and Rift have the same system that a lot people can avoid with out spending a dime.
Last Part I do hope making this move to buy to play, that Trion doing less shady stuff just to keep the game a float and less needed for cash shop items push.
Only games with business models I can stomach are WoW and FFXIV. I'll not likely ever patronize a Trion game again.
Not saying Trion is better than Blizzard's way of doing it but....Really? I can't stand WOW's business model. They charge you a box. Then charge a sub. Then have a cash shop. Then offer WOW tokens in the shop that can be sold in game for gold. Then allow CH from garrisons to be traded for gold so players can buy top tier PvP gear with real money from token sales. I think they milk as much as any other diary farmer.
Kinda agree but maybe this is the reason why they are doing so well and so far ? I've read Blizzard servers spending are huge also always great customer service ,mostly a bug free game , every year damn year a new expansion ....Maybe this income +loyal player base is the reason why Blizzard didn't fall miserably as many other titles did .

I can play the game without feeling punished for not using their cash shop. Money isn't suddenly hard to come by after they put in those sellable coins. I pay my sub and get all of the entertainment I always did without any push or change in mechanics and systems to encourage the cash shop.
If you bring out an expansion you need to let your b2p customers be up to date with previous expansions. This new expansion completely fails at that. Their merchandising gurus are airheads. Would not touch this game with a 10 foot pole.
I have played Rift since it was in Beta but I just can't get any enthusiasm up for it any more . The game on the EU servers at least is pretty quiet at the moment . Maybe this expansion will bring some people back or attract new players but I am not holding my breath .
I have moved to FF14 instead because I prefer to pay a subscription and get everything included as well as regular updates . I also have brought the Elder Scrolls gold pack . So will have plenty to do in the coming months .
I might take a look again at Rift when this expansion is on sale sometime but not until then .
I also note there is no new warfront map for PVPers . Maybe one will come along at a later date .
