i have played runescape ever sence it began (here and there) and have helped keep the game goining in the early year....
anyway,
1)it was easy to hack when the game began, im not sure about it anymore,(heres a tip dont use any programs like macros or 3r person stuff, most of them can hack your char)
2)this is not 1 dude that owns this game.....it use to but he partners with jarex, and thay need ti pay whom ever thay hired, pay for there many server all over the world, so on, so on. so hes not keeping all that money
3)im a hight lvl and i did it the old fation way
4)i liked RS1 better then RS2 cuz it was harder to train back in #1 then 2 so u can get what it took me forever like in a month if u stick with it.....so it makes all the time i put in this game in the past pointless..
I'm 11 too. I started playing runescape when I was 9. April 2003 to be exact. The graphics weren't good though, nothing's changed much. Sure there are alot of scammers but it's starter for new players that're kids. They learn HOW NOT TO GET SCAMMED. You get a whole lot of experiences! Like how to know how to LOOK before you ACCEPT deals. How to THINK before you follow another person. Although your grammar might be damaged if you play too long. If you survive this game, you certainly can play another game with more thoughts on how to enjoy yourself. I owe this game even though some people say it sucks. Oh, and being a non-member does get the fun out of almost EVERYTHING. But atleast you learn to start rough. Hehehe..

hey runescape was one of the funnest games i ever played (members not free) people can never get past the graphics and discover the great game beneath them. Runescape is a great free game if you like the free ones. Graphics aren't that great, but I must say that it is a game worth yoru time if you are into community settings and like to work on skills.
I was a good leveled player and I never had anything in my bank removed. If anything, Jagex ensures that your inventory is safe and that your bank items are kept secured by placing a password on it. I'm not sure what new updates they now have, but I enjoyed playing it on the free servers. There isn't as much freedom, but it was enjoyable still.
I don't know how much they make... just do the math yourself. Multiplay the monthly fee times as many member players as you think there are. You should come up with a rather large ammount... which is why the game is running.

I remember the game being... ppl who wanted to buy stuff went to server 1, which was always full. Now there are seven to ten servers full (2000 players per server) and the rest are 1500-2000 range, they got to be doing something right to have that going on for them.
Whoever says the game is horrible and all that junk.... They're making more money than most of the MMOs out now days, who cares if you don't like it they're makin' monies.

I honestly doubt they would get a split of it, a lump sum of money every month but a split? No way, I don't believe it.
It could be that admins did not delete items, maybe you was hacked. Happend to me ones. But i never heard of things like item deleting and im lvl 75. Willie Monk. and eh there are about 5000 members each paying 5 dollar a month, = 25000 dollars a month :P cya

Ok first il give you my opinion on the game then i will get t0 the 2 questions ! when i first played runscape i looked at the graphix i thought omg do i want to start! i choose to give it a go i looked behind the graphics and found a very good game! alot to do come of the cpomunety are ncie some are just chilish alos i have to say jagex are the hardest working gameing company ever ! they update every single week adding a new quest improveing the graphics slightly! adding new wepons ! every week ! most companeys dont update for a month or 2 .my ntop 5 games are
1.Guildwars/guildwars factions 2.world of warcraft 3.runescape 4.planeshift 5.eve online

Actually over 15000 people were banned 2 months ago.
Lately they updated there system sever and know u cant really macro anymore.
i heard people had like 20 account with million on it and got banned because of macroing.
