I hope Cyberpunk 2077 is single player like The Witcher. That's what CDPR knows best. I would definitelly play it regardless of it being online or offline, but i hope they don't fall into the online only trap.

I'm a Huge cyberpunk fanatic.  I own every cyberpunk PnP rpg manual (I collect them regardless of genre).  I own every classic cyberpunk paperback.  I even bought the Neuromancer video game (1988) back in the day.  I think I have already stated my love of the MxO.

City Creation sounds a lot like techniques I have been promoting for years.  While Seamless Multiplayer sound like their way of getting standard server development paid for by the Polish government.  Same goes for Animation Excellence, just another word for motion capture expenses.

If they get their funding for server development they may turn this into a MMO.  The previously released trailer is exceptional.  My only problem with cyberpunk video games, is how hacking is portrayed.  In MxO it was more like a Harvest Node.  The hacker was shown animating at a interface node for a few seconds then it was over.

I'm presenting this here to get any input from fans of cyberpunk, and to get the word out that I'm making my own games.  In my future based MMORPG, the hacker will be a separate but parallel class to the Rogue(Operative/Thief).  Hacking will be done at a specialized console, but a separate instance of the cyber world will be created.  There Websites and Servers will take on a structural appearance.  NPCs will replace code and images to be more interactive.  So a login screen will be an NPC to be dealt with.  Sorta along the same lines as was presented in TRON.  But a different art style.

The problem I feel is that real world characters won't experience this unless they jack in.  The real world skills and abilities will not carry over to the jacked in world.  A Melee fighter will have no strength against a virus or firewall, unless they equip and level an online skill set separately.  So say a team takes on the fetch mission to get data item X from site Y.  In the jacked in instance site Y will take on the appearance of a Multi-story structure, defenses will be NPCs, traps, puzzles, and doors that must be dealt with in a real world fashion that simulates a cyber attack.  The data will be and actual item, for instance a mask, a jug of wine, or a coffin (to represent very old data).

I'm really curious to see how and if CD Projekt RED deals with cyberspace.  Right now I don't expect them to produce a second world requiring additional assets just to simulate cyberspace.  I predict that cyberspace will be handled as a harvest node, or jacking in will be an instance using real world assets and real world skill sets.  Meaning a real world melee tank will also be a cyber melee tank with and in the same real world gear.

Konfess your cyns and some maybe forgiven
Boy: Why can't I talk to Him?
Mom: We don't talk to Priests.
As if it could exist, without being payed for.
F2P means you get what you paid for. Pay nothing, get nothing.
    Even telemarketers wouldn't think that.
It costs money to play.  Therefore P2W.

Yeah @Asheram, that was a cool movie, of the genre.  I think I re-watched it two months ago.
