Pokemon Go News - Representatives of the Dutch city of The Hague are taking Niantic Labs to court on October 11th after repeated attempts to contact the company to restrict Pokemon Go from a protected location and during the hours of 11:00 pm and 7:00 am. According to city authorities, Niantic has not responded to requests from the city since mid-August so felt there was no alternative than court to settle the issue.

if your gun has a game that gives you points for shooting people, the gun manufacturer might be to blame as well.
And yes Niantic can do something about this and do some research before placing pokemons in the world.
Every single person who does the whole "it's not the companies fault" speech deserves to have random stampedes of cows and live stock led across and through their property. You give those cows a good talking to, not the wrangler.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you shoot someone because a game asked you to do it then the game's creators would face jail time alongside with you.
The city officials didn't want a full ban, just more restrictions - the company kept on ignoring them.
How else should the city react?

Contacting the company to ask for minor changes seems the most reasonable approach.
No, it's protected land and they don't really want anyone there at any times. The 11-7 thing is on the streets. They want Niantic to remove Pokemon from the streets between those hours, like a Pokemon curfew.
Its about cooperation. If an authority is telling you that your unintentionally causing damage and you don't even have respect enough to even reply?
Who the heck do some of these companies and corporations think they are these days?
I hope the Judge Hammers them
