Let's not forget that this game was part of the biggest scam of it's time in the early 2000's. Took a lot of pre orders etc and the game was basically nothing (did not give money back), they got into legal trouble because they didn't even have the license to game or didn't even own it. I wouldn't touch anything Dark & Light ever.. not until I see a million players actually playing the game before I would even consider it.

this is the real issue you need to be aware off. Unfortunately you zero self control kids and adults have allowed this industry to get out of control with this horsecrap crowd funding scam and over and over you all sign up shitting your money away over and over enabling this small money grab developer teams, this is also why we rarely get good games anymore, just buckets of medicore to utter junk pots which you guys fund over and over.
Grow up have a little patience make these people develop a real game and finish it before they get to see your money.
What are the P2W elements? Or we just say that out of point now?
He is guessing just like he guessed it was f2p when it's actually b2p like GW2 and eso.
What does it matter? B2P is just F2P with an entry fee.
It's no better.
It actually is a bit better, it helps keep out the riff raff who have to pony up the entry fee at the least.
Actually, that is a valid point, many F2P games are plagued by players who do not contribute and justifiably or not, are the ones most accused of being a disrupting element in a game, so by making it B2P, players are probably encouraged to avoid the more unpleasant behaviour normally associated with F2P games, by making account banning having a monetary consequence, this also affects RMT'ers. Other than that, it does seem increasingly, that B2P is the new F2P + box price, its probably a good thing.
Here come the lemmings, throwing their $200 away. Look at who is making this game, that should give you a clue that this will be another in a long line of game failures in the west. Just another eastern grinder with significant cash shop purchase needs.
When will people learn they are basically being scammed again?

There is no $200 anything. It was just something the poster said, a joke.
As far as people playing this game, some people don't take this stuff as serious as "other people".

Dwarves or "stunties" as they sometimes called are my favourite, although the disgrace masquerading as Dwarves coming soon to ESO makes me shudder !
