Guilds leaving and joining

If I leave the newbie guild and join another can I go back again later?

No you will not be able to. The starter guild has no officers. There is no one in control. Think of it more like a starting chat group rather than a guild. So once you leave that guild you cannot go back.
I would suggest then that you do not leave it until you find a guild you want to join. Then, if you do not like that guild simply find another one to join.
