Fans of Tales of Berseria will be happy to hear that Bandai has announced the release date as January 24, 2017 for both PC and PlayStation 4. An extensive Collector's Edition will set fans back $149.99 but it is a limited edition, with only ten thousand units to be sold.

Sounds like a game design i might like. However at 150 it is way too steep, although i would imagine a normal price for a normal edition would be coming.I do see some swag with that 150,however this game really has no LORE identity, the swag would be near meaningless, not like if yo uhad some Warcraft or Final Fantasy swag.

The graphics may be a real concern as i really do not or at least ,no longer enjoy anime or cartoon type graphics.

It is those type of graphics that had me for years labeling console games as second rate to PC games. Now here we are in 2016 and although i like the game design, the graphics look like 1990 console. The textures all look like 8 bit colours, really too bad that developers go cheap on games now a days.

Developers miss the boat entirely, people like to have cool looking armor and weapons,a cool house with furniture and trophies, people like to have mounts and collectibles.Cool looking effects and graphics just add a layer of good looking to a game, yet seems devs are intent on doing as little as possible to spice games up.To me it is like trying to sell a used car with a rusty paint job,you need to put some effort into that sell job.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Complaining about anime type graphics in a game like this is like complaining about PvP in Camelot Unchained. Probably not my cup of tea but I don't want them to change to suit me. Too many games try to be all things to all people today. Too many people expect that today as well.

Looks good for what it is and I might even pick up a copy for my kids.

I loved this series, but it seems like less and less effort is being put into the characters and story. It's rapidly becoming "Tales of Men in Strange Clothing."

I may get it, the standard version that is. It's been along time since I played a "Tales of" game. Last ones I played was Abyss & Vesperia

since ps4 and xboxOne are basicly PCs with their 1:1 pc architetcure, its just a question of time when they release on PC too. FF15 will ofc come on PC too.

Lets hope its better then that Tales of Zestria, what a aweful slow game with aweful characters and combat System.

Woah, another bullshit of Graphics/Story/Characters. Get out now that you can, boys. This is "Tales of another JRPG without soul". Since Vesperia, the saga lost too much.

Tales of Symphonia is still the best. Will try this one!

Tales of Zestiria The X is the current anime attached to these characters, and its very well done. Can't believe the in-game story would be shallow at all.

I never heard of this, but as soon as I see that anime, I'm turned off.  While I can handle bad graphics, anime, especially that uber anime style, just turns me off.  I wish I could get over it, but what are you gonna do.

No way. Tales of Vesperia and Tales of the Abyss are the best.

My favorite Tales game is Tales of Phantasia from back in the day on Super Nintendo. I love Tales of Graces F, and Symphonia too. I have a bunch of tales games on their respective launch platform (phantasia on snes emulator duh) i need to finish still. I've heard Zestiria is not very good and it's the weakest one in the series, which surprised me because the whole Tales series is pretty good. I will still play Zestiria eventually, and then i will definitely play Berseria. Looking forward to it.

The only Tales game i don't give/will never give a flying rat's arse about is the mobile game Tales of Link. I wish it was properly released on dedicated gaming platforms.

Tales of Destiny 1 and 2 were just on point lore, combat and style wise.

I just wished they ported Tales of the World to other consoles besides the psp.

I only played the first one (There's 3 I believe now) and it's pretty cool.

The graphics look a bit dated, perhaps they, like tell tale games, need to upgrade their game engine. Hopefully its not as bad as the Zestria game. :o
