Bah! I was hoping for a slow and gruesome death for that heartless bitch Vaylin. Looks like she is going to be one of the main characters. I wonder if Arcann will be brought into the picture again.

    Nice trailer.

Can't wait for KotET. When it comes Blizzard can stick its AP farming grind to... she knows where.

Still waiting to see if there's any new group content but the stinky refurbished fortress that nobody cares about.

Also they should know better than extend some character story that much. Revan become boring then stupid and now it's Valkorion, ZZZzzz...

If SWTOR was anything like their cinematic trailers I would never have left. In terms of graphics, engine, and combat (not slow & dull tab target) there's just no comparison. I remember how hyped I got for SWTOR pre-launch with their cinematics, I'd rather the game be amazing and the trailers shit than the other way around.

They will NEVER turn this game around because it was not handled or done well enough by Bioware.
I am quite sure they had a decent budget,200 million was pandered around, they just could not deliver.

I wanted an EPIC game to match the epic IP,arguably one of the greatest ip's on the planet,so don't give me half assed effort.

Creating a game and Lore from scratch is a lot more work, very hard to do,but having a hand gifted IP SHOULD make it easier.

Without trying i could have given this game a 500% better start from day 1.Create several of the known Star Wars races/classes.Then you create the different planets and allow players to choose what culture they want to rise up with. Then you create computer generated invasions, but the catch is that players from those planets can take part in the battles/invasions.They end up as epic battles, tons of action as well give meaning and reason for doing so.
That way you create systems whereby players are building up to invade another race/planet.That takes time and resources, gives players stuff to do in between and then enjoy the epic results of all their hard work.
Instead all Bioware did was create quest hubs and a boring game world. They put in place ,basically ONE system ,a point system whereby you get good side or evil side points based on limited decisions ABC,pretty weak game design. All the npc's are just mostly static ,waiting to be attacked. The world looks cheap, poor textures, very low end models and effects/graphics,really nothing to make you stand up and say ...AWESOME.

This trailer is so good, that it falsely advertises the game.

oh what i would pay for swg2 the problem with tor is its so linear and small scale and no jump to lightspeed instead tor offers you instanced space pvp. The thing about swg was there so much to do and explore and you could be whatever the hell you wanted not like tor ill take bieng uncle owen any day over an overblown sith with hair curlers for a helmet.

tor could have been so much but even revan got raped over in it lol

    Nice trailer, meh game.
The acronym MMORPG use to mean Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game.

But the acronym MMMORPG now currently means Microscopic Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. Kappa.

Can I play in the trailer instead of the game?

Too bad the game sucks, 'cause that was one badass trailer.

So this is where all the sub money goes.

    Nice trailer.

Shame that the actual game is crap.

STWOR had a good story, cinematics and such... SO it's always interesting to poke around at this.

So tired of the emperor. Vitiate/Valkorian is fucking stupid. An immortal body jumping god sith is just lame. Villains in star wars are interesting because of their quest for power and character development. Vitiate has always just been a unstoppable force ghost god thing.

Really really boring when you can't end him.

    Playing: Smite, Marvel Heroes
Played: Nexus:Kingdom of the Winds, Everquest, DAoC, Everquest 2, WoW, Matrix Online, Vangaurd, SWG, DDO, EVE, Fallen Earth, LoTRo, CoX, Champions Online, WAR, Darkfall, Mortal Online, Guild Wars, Rift, Tera, Aion, AoC, Gods and Heroes, DCUO, FF14, TSW, SWTOR, GW2, Wildstar, ESO, ArcheAge
Waiting On: Nothing. Mmorpg's are dead.

Not so long ago Swtor was my game no.1. Not any longer. I would prefer to pay 60€ for decent expansion not just some cinematic go through. At least I would expect some kind of expansion like Makeb was. I enjoyed for some time KOTFE ... but at the end finished it with just 1 my alt. Before I had full set of unique stories with all republic and empire alts. It is not fun at all going with every alt through cinematic questing. Make no mistake, I love cinematics in Swtor ... but they can be only as BONUS, not main focus they become. Guess will buy next expansion at the end of all chapters, to experience it with single or two alts. After all this years I feel for the first time disappointed, cheated by this expansion. On Makeb I enjoyed, Revan expansion was also great, good mix of all. With KOTFE just cinematic questing that become boring after 2nd or 3rd alt out of 8 or 16.

0 fucks given about valkorion, his dysfunctional family and his lame so cool empire. I mean I am not even angry or disappointed or anything of that sort.

Can we get to Republic vs Empire, please? This is not Star Wars(well, perhaps in the essence), they are merely milking the cash cow.

Shame about a huge waste of money though.

They will never give is Republic v Empire again because that means they would have to programme two separate stories every 'episode' as opposed to the shallow, vapid, narrow, rat-run stories they're giving us now.

Well that would require dev work on two sides instead of one.  I would love to see class stories again, but that won't happen.

this is turning out to be like that TV series "Twin Peaks", as in, it's becoming a tangled mess. Also I expect like a lot of other people like myself are thinking, this has to blend in with the starwars we all know, which at this point it doesn't.

It wasn't Bioware that dropped the ball on development for SWTOR. Any blame is to be put at the feet of EA.
