The holidays are coming to Elder Scrolls Online thanks to the addition of the new Event System in One Tamriel. The first event is Witches Festival that will kick off its spooky happenings on October 13th. Players will be able to take part in special quests starting with The Witchmother's Bargain that transforms them into terrifying and horrifying monsters. Killing bosses while morphed gives a chance for a Plunder Skull with all sorts of holiday-themed goodies inside.

I guess something is better than nothing but it seems like a bit of a disappointment. Basically a polymorph that prompts special drops from bosses with some new loot. Really not much of an event. I would prefer a little new content (assuming the quest to get the whistle is rather brief), decorations in the hub cities, a minigame, etc. At least I can enjoy GW2's Halloween event, even if it is mostly recycled.

Vamps and Wares should get holiday buffs during this time.  :+1:

Somewhat harsh. They have just released update 12 which included - amongst other things - a reworked Craglorn.

I actually agree here. I am disappointed with this, it seems underwhelming to me.

I spoke to a few people in my guild and there is a sense of meh in almost all the conversations. I expected more than what this is turning out to be. I think underwhelming is a good choice of words for me as well.
