Chilton Leaves as Game Director, Hazzikostas Taking Over
World of Warcraft News - Tom Chilton has published a lengthy letter on the World of Warcraft community forum to let players know that he is moving on from his position as Game Director to a new project "just down the hall" at Blizzard. He names Ion Hazzikostas as his replacement and that "WoW will be in great hands with Ion at the helm".

It wouldn't make sense anyhow,why would they compete against themselves,so i feel it obvious it is something capturing another place in the market.
Every genre they have covered,i know better games to play,so i really have little hope they can move into a different market and deliver,but hey ANYTHING is possible.
Speculation ,hmmm ,well it will definitely be quickly produced,sort of low budget,hmm perhaps need to look at twitch to see what else is popular.Geesh after looking over the top 30 at Twitch there really is little that interests me,i play hearthstone but get bored after 2-3 games a session.IDk i only see possible a Minecraft/Voxel type game but that is something that SHOULD be a minimum 3-5+ year project and there is no way this is going to be an in depth project because hundreds of millions of dollars later they only have one big project and that was way back with Wow.
Yeah maybe others are right,likely what they always do,rehash their popular brands,then it is almost no risk,Diablo 5/6/7/8/555/2002.War of Diablo,Diablo clones,heroes of Diablo,War of Diablocraft,,,you get the drift.

Blizz trying a voxel game would be cool or like others said WC4 or Diablo MMO would be kewl too. Hopefully they are upping their game b/c Amazon is now stepping into the fray.
