Over the last two years, RGB customization has become the most dominant trend in gaming peripherals. Today, we take a look at Corsair’s MM800 Polaris hard mouse pad. It’s big, RGB enabled, and seamlessly pairs with other Corsair devices, but does it succeed in justifying its $59.99 MSRP?

But lights on my mousepad? I guess it's just me, but I'm in my 30's, I game in my home office and no one ever sees my computer, so honestly I don't care if anything has a single light except for the letters on my keyboard and they can be white for all I care.
If you get a mousepad for the sake of wrist comfort, that's fine. But this product doesn't look like it's built for that. Rather, it looks like the lighting is the main point of the product.

" It looks great and drips quality, but, returning to the original question, does it justify its price tag? That depends entirely on how much you value the extra flash."
Did you pay for it?
Will a mouse work on the top of my desk, or my lap, or anyplace else? Yes. But not anywhere near as nice as it works on my mousepad.
That being said. I don't need lights or anything on my mousepad. I have an old Ratzpad, it's ... getting close to 10 years old now that I think about it. Best thing I've ever used with a mouse.
Prolly because I already own G910 Orion and G700s and comfy with LGS
Then again, I use a trackball, I am way faster with that then a mouse and I don't need any specific thing to have it on, not even a flat surface.
I agree. I usually go for comfort and extra buttons. If it happens to have some cool lights or designs. Great, a bonus. But certainly not important.
