The reason I can never really get into Diablo 3 is that it provides no sufficient motivation for character permanence. The greatest challenge and best achievements always come from rolling a hardcore seasonal hero. And when the next season rolls around, that hero is basically irrelevant and the whole process starts again.

That is my main reason for preferring Marvel Heroes. Hero permanence is a thing. There is more to do, and more to strive for once you max out.

I agree, it's a flawed design but I can't get into Marvel Heroes because I can't create my own hero.

Well i agree 100% it is a dead game,Blizzard is smart enough to throw out that hook line and sinker which USUALLY works.....the NEW loot/reward.
IDK people used to ALWAYS talk about playing games for FUN,i almost NEVER see that now a days.Everyone is playing for some rank/rating ,notoriety.

BTW got an advert popup while on this page ...sigh,,this is what happens when THIS site is so greedy ,pushing for more and more ways to make money.EVERY single business that tosses money on the table, this site is quick to jump all over it without a second notice.

SIZMEK seems to be a rather new cookie/tracker adware business,i would venture a bet that Sizmek is related to this new popup advertising/redirects.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Dead game. The only reward is some shitty wings. It's day 2 of the new season and people are already paragon 800. The game is a joke, better off playing Path of Exile.

What's to strive for in MH really?  I prefer ARPG seasons with leaderboards myself.  MH gets stale fast unless you want to prestige or get perfect rolled gear that won't really help you with the end game content over average rolls.

LOL at the people saying it's a dead game. The seasons always bring in a large amount of players.

Didn't you know that just saying it makes it so....if you're a simpleton.

I see the typical MMORPG.com echo chamber of disdain for all things Blizzard has begun.

I'm not a huge fan of Blizzard titles, but I do play HotS. Just saying.
