Well, that was my biggest complaint besides the lack of overall content. At least they do what 2/3 of mmo developers don't, listen to their community/player base.

You forgot to add that the person behind those animations worked on many AAA projects like Gears of War or The Wticher 3 (He animated Geralt himsefl if i am not wrong), so for this small studio and budget it is outstanding that the animator of this level work on the animations in this game. It is visibale in the quality and its still work in progress :)

You're correct. I left it out puposely (except if you followed the link) so that the revamp could stand on its own merit :)

    Sorry :)

But on the other hand its a nice info that Black Eye work with the developers of this caliber, for small studio like them its sth cool imo :)

One instance of devs listening to players can be found in every MMO game.

So by this logic, all devs are listening to their playerbase.

Aren't there features in GV that playerbase wants and devs don't want to put it? (Like in every game)

Wouldn't that mean the opposite of what you concluded?

Bottom line - You can cherry pick positives (or negatives) for any developer and any game to say they listen to their playerbase or ignore the playerbase.

    Funny isn't it?

Who are you, why are you always around, and who pissed in your cheerios to make you so bitter?

Anyone can take the smallest view to create a counter-argument and disagree with any topic. That doesn't mean they need to do it if it serves no purpose, show some restraint and be constructive.

They need to rework the combat system to make it more interesting, not just improve the animations.

If people don't agree with his statement they can make their own choice. No one needs you to spell anything out for us. [mod edit]

Huge improvement very fluid. One more would be the ice skating footwork.

I know it's planned but when they add in directional blocking I'll go back in but this on its own is pretty impressive.

    Looks almost appealing...

Great animations, awesome job done there.

I backed this game long ago for the hope they deliver a good medieval mmo with mount & blade combat.

    This gives me hope.

Something I wish they add is collision with environment with the directional combat. It's one of the reason I played warband for so long. You can't swing indoors with long weapons or you'll hit the wall.

Very nice animations. I'd say top notch, really. And reasonably realistic looking, too. Maybe I need to check this game out at some point :)

I would love to read news on "Revamped Combat & Movement Animations" much more often.

So many otherweise good games that i just can't get into because of poor animations.
