Steam’s Upcoming Policy Change Will Allow Only In-Game Screenshots on a Game’s Store Page

Valve’s upcoming Discovery Update 2.0 will ban concept art and pre-rendered stills from displaying on a game’s Steam store page.

In an attempt to stop misleading gamers, Valve wants to make sure that all images appearing on the store pages “are actually screenshots of your game,” the company stated in a copy of its update notes sent toEurogamer.
