Revelation Online News - My.com is ready to get things rolling in the first Revelation Online closed beta event. CBT 1 is slated to begin shortly and comes with a brand new trailer to get everyone excited for one of the more hyped games to come down the road this year.

    Did anyone get a key from signing up with their email? I got 1 years worth of spam from them but no key.

    Downloading now, but Malwarebytes is having a fit about the .exe contacting what it calls malicious websites.

    I guess Veexer's post explains why Malwarebytes considered my.com a malicious website.

    I'll wait for Open Beta or Final launch. I bought in on Skyforge and that turned out to be a waste of money. I won't make that mistake again. Skyforge was decent, but only had one thing going for it and that was the Atlas. Bet even with the Atlas it was still lacking content and the content that it did have went stale fast. Ascension didn't do it any favors either. To say you were a GOD, you sure did have to group a lot. Oh wait you weren't until you got the Divine Form. Which btw had a timer. You know the say Fool me once? YYyyyEEeeAAaaHHhh.

    Even though I was the 31st entry in the second or third giveaway, I didn't get a beta key from them.  Oh, well, no invite in my email either...

    Well My.com is off my list until they can explain why their prg keeps trying to connect to websites that are on Malwarebytes shit list of bad ones.

    Huge world some interesting movement features otherwise a 10 year old cheaply made asian grinder. And I am level 25

    I played for about an hour and uninstalled. Not saying the game is bad but these types just do not appeal to me. 

    MU Legend is more my type of setting. Looks like that is what I will be playing.

    Yeah, I would definitely say the translations could've used a lot more time if they wanted people to properly test things.

    Seems the mods going crazy on their forums and not allowing posts so will post what i was trying to say over there on here.

    Really? The UI, a persistent selection of windows which text doesn't change from your firsts moments you login to the game to the 100th hour of looking at it, isn't fully translated? That should be the bare minimum and basic of translation you do before charging people to access the beta.

    The 371th quest dialog that most people will skip anyway, not fully translated, sure that is expected. But common my.com... get the basic UI text in a acceptable level before asking/taking money from your customers.

    Why does it almost always seem like one guy using google translate does a better job with English patches of these Asia clients than the publishers teams do in the months of prep to bring them to the west for testing.

    Somebody know why after login then press play APCRASH and before ehrn loading launch game stop at adm radeon shadow and get chinise error i have requiments tu run this game.. im buy founder pack and now cant play wtf.....

      Re-posted your screenshot on their forums post about the poor translation and the thread got deleted once people could actually an example of it...

    If they cannot take the criticism on the poor translation job they have done, why release the beta well before its ready for an English audience.

    well so far EU server was down when i got home from work about 1745, it came back it up, and got on immediatly ot then find myself around about 1500 in queue, so in 20 minutes ive gone down to position 700ish... 
    heck at this rate ill be glad to get onto character creation before i goto bed :)

    This post is all my opinion, but I welcome debate on anything i have put, however, personal slander / name calling belongs in game where of course you're welcome to call me names im often found lounging about in EvE online.

    ok, so i will add more..

    Got in about 15minutes ago, and for a CBT this isn't in my opinion ready by any stretch, there is a better translation on the CN server using google translate, the one thing i was looking forward to was the cut-scenes, but not a single one in the starter zone has had ANY english translation

    The localisation has been near non-existent. 

    The game itself is what it was on CN server, which makes me sad, i think this game has (and still has) the making of a very good, not brilliant, but very good MMO, i can just hope that the Devs are learning more about their game today than they seemingly have learnt from other game releases.

    In fact if i could/can return my early access package to be honest i probably would, im quite dissapointed at the lack of work seemingly done from the port of CN.

    But, its unlikely that any refund will be offered, so i can just hope that they get it right in the next few weeks/months before the full release, otherwise this will be another game that is tarnished at release , and we all know how games that release badly go on..... the MMO graveyard is full of bad releases that live on life support.

    I woudl post this stuff on the RO forum, but as we have heard and seen its would likely be deleted or blocked.... :sad face

    Question: Anyone here use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware? Also if there is, have they gotten warnings of the installing .exe trying to contact malicious websites and therefore blocked?

    Yep I use Malwarebytes and also had it alerting me.  Think I will pass on the beta  and wait and see if it does that at release.  If Malewarebytes says the site is bad it probably is and no you can't have my key.
