BDO graphics question

joeri123joeri123 Member UncommonPosts: 247
Hey guys,

I got this game at launch but I couldn't keep playing it as the pop-in textures/assets just made me sick. I was wondering if the devs made any effort up until now to fix this issue? Or has there been a third party fix found for it?

Thx!

Yeah still there. Been giving the game a shot this weekend and it's very noticeable.

It isnt something that is broken. There is no computer that could run BDO with every character on screen for the whole view distance. I dono why u all complain about it, it is no worse than tera. I dono maybe its worse for people with low end computers, but i barely notice it any more. It is a trade off to have a game with such good graphics. I mean some times on the screen there are like 100 plus individual people, monsters and what not. You want the game to require 4 x 1080 gtxs? Just use auto pathing when you move and look at ur beautiful character.

Yes, that also kept me from buying the game. I LOVED the graphics, but despite having a decent PC i had pop ups from hell.

May someone would want to try what this player is suggesting (starting at about 3+min) and report back.

The devs said they are looking at ways to minimize it, but... yeah, it's still there.
If you're the kind that's obsessive about that sort of stuff, then it's probably better to move along.

Saves you a lot of bitching down the line. xD

    And pretty much this.
I have to actually look for it to really notice it, but I'm also not one of the people that fixates on it... and my computer's pretty decent.
