Rust News - Facepunch Studios' Maurino Berry has penned a new blog post on the Rust site to let players know that experience and leveling have been entirely removed from the same due to the fact that it "completely changed the feel of Rust as a sandbox".

    I honestly liked the leveling in Rust. It might be a sandbox but having leveling present gave me something to work towards while doing menial things like gathering or crafting low tier items. Them removing it might not make it that fun for me anymore.
