Gran Turismo Sport was announced for PlayStation VR a long time ago, and at last week’s PS4 Pro event, we got to go hands on with the game in virtual reality. But does it fare any better than DriveClub VR? We share our hands on impressions in this preview.

Are you serious?
Who would think that AAA games would not come to Playstation VR?
Sony 1st Party Developers
Naughty Dog
Sucker Punch
Gorilla Games
Japan Studio
Media Molecule
Sony Santa Monica
Polyphony Digital
San Diego Studios
London Studios
Bend Studios
Quantum Dream
The nice thing is you can do your race and then stop. Then throw it back on and race again. Playing an MMO or a game of that nature, I don't think I could tolerate it for any length of time, which isn't a deal breaker but would probably interrupt the flow of the game.
I would probably end up playing a majority of that type of game on a screen and then keep the VR in reserve for the really cool parts.
In any case it is going to be price point that gets me started. So that probably means one of the console versions for sure.
FFA Nonconsentual Full Loot PvP ...You know you want it!!
PS4 Pro releases on Nov 10.
Better VR titles are coming but I agree that right now it does not justify the cost.

And no, car racing is not my thing either... still waiting for that mythical AAA release that is better with VR than without it.
“Microtransactions? In a single player role-playing game? Are you nuts?”

In fact as early as just last week these statements were made 'VR is not going to happen unless some major titles get released'
so...who exactly says that and at the same time feels strongly that there will not be major titles released?

There are not enough people nerdy enough to buy gaming HW just because it's cool or a technological achievement. For gaming HW to become a success it needs those major titles, even better, it needs exclusives.
The statement you paraphrased is saying just that.

who understands that AAA titles are coming and then makes this statement
'VR is going to go no where unless they bring in some major titles'
seriously? that was said repeatably as early as last week around these parts. unbelievable the extent people will go to

Speak for yourself I've got one and will be picking up my PS4 Pro at the end of the week.
Still got my other normal PS4 which I'll give to my little brother.
Yes they are but the hate is strong in that one, consoles are the bane of gaming and all that lol.
Statement: 'VR needs to have a top tier game or it will fail'
Question: 'does this game fill that requirement'?
if not then dosent the orginal assertion need to be modified?

The fact of the matter is, this is one game... and racing games aren't something that everyone enjoy, so again, I say, this is a one off on the new console system that was already slated as being the savior of VR.
