Recomendations? - Like Diablo, MU Legend

JaimlJaiml Member UncommonPosts: 130
I just finished up the MU Legend open beta.  I had a blast.  Now I'm looking for a game in the similar vein.  I also enjoy Diablo III.  Here is what I liked about it.

1)  I found the game play fun but not overly complex without  needing to press dozens of keys to max dps.

2) You can jump in for 15 to 20 minutes and run an instance.  No need to schedule 2 hours + farming time to get ready.

3) I enjoy the cartoony graphics from MU Legend.  I like the Diable III graphics as well.

4) Finding some good fighting action is quick and simple.  I don't mind grinding but I don't want to take 10 mins to get to the grind area.

5) I find myself avoiding MMORPG due to the time requirements to improve the character.  (I used to love them but I don't have that kind of time any more)

6) Descent crafting mechanics where the best gear is crafted.

Is this like one of 1,000 of posts we get here every month?  I don't think what I am looking for is out there but just in case I missed a game somewhere I thought I would ask.

-No, I am not looking for easy mode, turn on the computer and you are max level with all good gear.  I don't mind being behind and working for my gear.  I just don't have the time to sit for 2 hours to try for one piece of gear.  I'll grind 2 hours in 20 - 30 minute increments to try and get a piece of gear.  I'm fine with that.

Thought I would throw this out there and see what comes up!

Are you open for mobile games. MU Origin only takes 1hr or less to complete all daily quests and instance dungeon so you won't have to burn your butt for hours just to get an equipment. But if you really prefer PC you can still play it on pc using emulator like nox or bluestack. If you're not satisfied you can try ELOA or Devilian. Also Torchlight and Tree of Saviour.

I don't know if maybe you posted in wrong thread, guy asks about MU Legend and D3, and you post info about the division, couldn't be further away from what hes looking for

Ok, well.... that's your opinion... nice. However, except for the isometric view and fantasy setting, imo, they are similar types of games.
If you don't agree then, fine. just ignore my reply... *shrugs*

If you want isometric, I know Titan quest did an enhanced version of the game not to long back. I don't know much about the game but it's suppose to be really good.

    Thanks for all the replies.

    Doesn't have to be Isometric.

By the way ELOA shut down yesterday.  I went to check it out and all that was there at the sire was note... "Thanks for all the fish or something... blah blah blah, shut down on November 8th."  (maybe they didn't do the fish line but they should have!!)

So far Devillian is winning but I am keeping my eye on Lineage Eternal.

I will have to check out Grim Dawn as well.

    Props for the replies!

If you are still interested in trying ELOA, Gamengame is continuing it. It's started a CBT with them already (https://gamengame.com/games/online-game-media.asp?game_no=122). Also, I'd keep an eye on Guardians of Ember, which should be out on Steam EA later this month. (if they don't delay again anyway...)
