Bless News - Aeria Games' "Carsomyr" has posted a new development update over at Bless-Source.com with specific regard to the EU / NA version of the game. The letter begins by reminding folks that the team is hard at work, though some issues had cropped up that have caused a slight delay. Right now, gamer performance is being improved to accommodate for large-scale battles; the combat system is being improved, a better tutorial is being added as well as world map and chat UI are being reworked.

It doesn't happen that way, there's always a trade off between getting something out there and getting something right.
If it comes down to a choice, then have a delay and let's have a quality product - hopefully not too long a wait or people's interest tends to wander off - but it doesn't cost anything to keep the game on your radar.
Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...
I tried the Korean beta recently, and while the combat wasn't horrible, it was definitely very "blah". I think they need to borrow the animators from Black Desert for a bit (but not the net coders) /snark
I've got my fingers crossed for more dodging.
The combat is still bad, its heavily focused on open world PvP and Aeria is the publisher.
Three strikes and you are OUT!
They should just release the game now and hope they get a bunch of suckers at launch before word of mouth spreads.
Now, I didn't even touched ArcheAge and I will do the same with Bless.
Why? The publishers! That's it! Those 2 games can be the best games out there, but I will NOT touch them if they are published by those 2 companies which all they have in mind is P2W to make as fast as possible , good money.
You may say "but hey! X or Y company is not really like that" ! No! That's bullshit ! I saw Trion, I know AeriaGames and I was also lied in the past by the exact same line which is now very common "Our shop will not include P2W items! We can assure you that! There is no reason to believe that! Come play our game , pl0x" ( I am fucking pointing at you gameforge. You ruined Aion for good for me ) .
So there you go! Do .. whatever you want with Bless! As long as I read "Bless Online - By AeriaGames" you can run fast, and far from me ( .. actually I do that ) .
..oh! One more "do you know whats really sad"?
...trumphy! There! I said it !
Reporter: What's behind Blizzard success, and how do you make your gamers happy?
Blizzard Boss: Making gamers happy is not my concern, making money.. yes!

People bouncing mmo to mmo looking for something similiar to thier favarice mmo but you'll never find it. I know I've been looking for a replacement for Lineage 2 for years. At this point I wish I just stuck with the p2w game would have saved me more money at this rate.
Even if they say they won't go p2w they will look at BDO. They sucked me up with the promises of no p2w only to drop it in 6 months into release. They just call it p2advance same difference in my eyes.
If you plan to play an MMO expect to p2w or be behind everyone. I wouldn't play an MMO unless you're willing to dump a few hundred to a thousand on it.

No, that's Revelation Online. Pay attention..
Oh and I'm in closed beta and haven't actually managed to do the prance yet.. It may have been removed..
That's very closed-minded of you. While I would say its fair to be weary of those companies It's totally unfair to say you'll never try their games. Take Trion for example, they published archeage and made many a mistake (as you well know). Now take current Trion with their release of atlas reactor. They've done everything right in that game for over a year now and I think that holding ArcheAge over their heads indefinitely is very harsh.
Whenever I look at an F2P publisher I compare games they develop to games they publish before I make a decision. It tells you a lot about what was forced on them by the developers and what they actually want to see.
