Battleborn News - The Battleborn fan community has taken charge to get others excited by the game by creating "Battleborn Day" slated for Saturday, November 12th. Players are hoping to encourage everyone to log in that day and "get in on the fight". A group called Battlebros has also cropped up, sort of a "Big Brother program for Battleborn" that will work with other players to provide training or advice to those who could use a bit of a hand.

I think this is so awesome. I love when developers are so involved with their community like the BB team is. How cool they are supporting a player initiative. I think I just may have to fire up Battleborn this weekend. :)

So, it's a day when 10 people will log in as opposed to 5?

Right, so miss the point entirely. It's about people who DO love the game and the devs that aren't giving up on it. :|

Initially I mistook it for "Paladins' day". It's amusing how the devs refuse to make their game relevant by switching business model (if there is any actual business left). I bet it's happening because they don't believe their game will be interesting to public even after F2P transition - like it happened with WildStar (notice similarities in the art style).

    Thank you for your time!

Actually, I don't notice similarities in the art style beyond "they're both cartoony." WildStar at least looks coherent. Body proportions in WildStar look consistent between characters of the same race. Battleborn uses a highly ecclectic, inconsistent artstyle with characters so distinct and different that they don't look like they belong within the same universe.

gbox isn't spending crap to change anything about this game. They just do tweaks with dials they already had baked in. The fundamental issues, that chased away 99% of players, are still there.

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women...

    That sounds fake, but okay...
