While I am really looking forward to seeing this game release, I can not help but think they started marketing it way too early. I find myself seeing these updates and thinking, "blah, not released yet, whats the point" after following it for most of last year. Is it possible to market a product too much and too long before release?

Lol not sure if you understand how crowdfunding and being transparent during development works. Patience is a virtue and required for a quality product. So many people take development for granted, jeez.

It looks like it's in good shape already all considering.

Shame there is no meaningful PvE, so I am gonna pass on this one.

Depends on your definition of 'meanigful PvE'.

If crafting is your thing, then there definately is meaningful PvE

Actually if you look at their Indiegogo page, they've spent $0 in marketing.

Word of mouth is strong with this one.

I doubt...maybe if you are clumsy with it / lying / underdelivering etc. - certainly not in this case. Total budget (already over $10M, and counting) also suggests otherwise.
     W...aaagh?

In my humble opinion, this is in no way shape or form ready for public viewing. Eesh.
