Star Citizen News - Chris Roberts has sent out the latest Star Citizen Letter from the Chairman. In it he thanks the community for their support of the game and details what the team has to go through in the development process. Like every game developer, the Star Citizen team has kept much of its development process internalized, particularly with regards to timelines and release dates.

But in the end there are so many different objectives, and so little explanations about each of them, that it's like trying to get useful knowledge by reading a laundry list. We're being given an overdose of cool information, which I suppose is good for marketing, but any actual knowledge we gain could be fit into 1 paragraph.

Have fun
Thought they would have end up saving it for something to show at their anniversary livestream but haven't seen anything about it being shown yet or did they end up scrapping the idea of showing it off?
Yeah, I know the plan has likely been altered in the time since Citizen Con, but even taking that into account there is just no way he could seriously have been thinking that that 2.6 backlog (started at 10/10) would be done in time for a 3.0 to also be ready for release by end of year.

Total crock of crap taking that much money from naive gamer's and no way in hell does this game come remotely close to being triple A,it is space with huds...have fun.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Lies. Video games make themselves. Especially combining three genres that will push graphics to their extreme; that's just like creating frakenstein. All the pieces naturally fit together without issue, and you only need a little electricity. Oh, and an angry mob with pitchforks and torches.
Those are the easiest to create.
