no sweet, also, your examples of the games graphics without sweet fx are severely limited, and very one sided.

What do you mean one sided, they are in the same spot? I didnt change anything but turn off sweet fx. That is the game on max graphics, minus background blur in both pictures, so I don't understand how you could say it is one sided. What do you mean severely limited? There is nothing limited about it.  The only guess I have about your comment, is you actually like the sweet fx picture better, but think I some how made the game with it off worse on purpose lol.

    No sweet.

Especially with the first set of pictures.

I actually just use the filmic color filter in game and really like it.

Everybody seems to use SweetFX to get even more color saturation in already colorful games.

When i use it, i always go with dark and gritty configs to make a game look less cartoonish and more realistic. Some games like Borderlands get a totally different touch that way and Fallout 4 gets to look so bleak and desperate that you want to kill yourself with death.

I was just pointing out that you only used one of the in game filters, tbh, the in game filters are better than the ones you get with sweet fx, perhaps if you experimented with those filters you will see what i meant.

Fog and color hue is all it is doing .The color hue can look nice if used right and as for fog,i have never really much liked fog in any of my games but it has it's place if again used correctly.

In this case the color hue is not used correctly, the players face is red,the dog is red,the horse is red.Instead of coming off as early sunrise or sunset it just looks like a color pasted onto a surface.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

    I agree.

Use an effect to make BDO more dark and gritty, then come back here and say how awesome it is.

I randomly just hit the settings on sweet FX, I ended up taking it off, because it gave me 10fps more with it off.

My only problem with the BDO graphics is that it is very 'full.'  I would like the option of turning off or down the grass.

Yeah I dono why they didn't add that. Especially since not every one is rocking a 900+ dollar computer to play it.

I have the computer capacity, but yea, I see your point.  I can imagine it puts a bit of strain on lower end comps.  For me, it's just that I prefer a bit more of a clean look.
