The second of the Elder Scrolls Online in-game holidays is poised to kick off on Thursday, December 15th. Called the New Life Festival, the event allows players to take on daily quests, each one themed around one of Tamriel's races, taking place in each one's zone. On the completion of the daily, players will be rewarded with special gift boxes that will always contain a memento, a Skinchanger style item and a random crafting material and one other random item.

To use words from a song:
"And I'm so happy 'cause you're so happy
I'm so happy 'cause you're so happy
I'm so happy 'cause you're so happy
And I'm so happy 'cause you're so happy
Heh - oh
And I'm so happy
And I really shouldn't like it
But I love it
When I say I'm not excited
You're invited"

All the exploration this event got me doing just left me with one thing to say... wow ESO's world is fking HUGE now they have opened all regions to every alliance.
It was almost like the experience i got exploring the world of BDO running around on my horse (ignoring all the quests).
Some of these daily took me over an hour to complete because i had to explore new areas i hadn't been yet and along the way i was picking up lore books and skyshards (could have spent alot more time in these new zones, but wanted to get the daily set done).
Rewards seem good and nice xp for a change (i got to lvl 50 yesterday before this event and after doing todays dailies, im champion lvl 60).
Have to say, ESO has impressed me a lot since returned recently from what it was the first month or 2 of its release when i played.
