This is a great game.  I hope others try it.  I know there will be a percentage that won't because it is a Trion game and will point to AA and say the company gouges.  However, if you get over it, you'll find Trove worth the try.  No gauging.  It's a kind of minecraft, but you have classes and quests.  Pretty fun.

I'm playing it with my 5-year-old and 7-year-old.

It is the perfect family MMO for playing with the young ones.  My 5 year-old daughter just does crafting and building.  From time to time she will join her brother and I to go into the "fight world" so she can gather mats.  The controls are easy enough that even she can handle them.

It is certainly not an earth shattering, ground breaking game, but it is great fun to spend a few hours.  Even more fun if you have some little pups running with you.

My 7 year-old is on a mission to beat dad to 20.  I push my character to his level and then back off.  That competition is perfect for his personality, drives him nuts.  The kids are only allowed to be on the computer on non-school nights... At this rate we will drag this game out for 2 years!  =)  Before this we were playing Wizard 101 and Pirate 101 but this is their new favorite!

It is a good chill game IMO.  No need to really commit just relax and have fun for a bit!
