not sure why they dumped down the original AoC combat system.
that basically was the best about the game :(

What's AoC have to do with this? This is entirely a different game. I agree AoC's combat was fun. I was amped for the dark Templar class but man did it disappoint. They talked about it being this almighty life siphoning class and it was a complete failure in that department. Trickle healing of 1's and 2's when my character has thousands of HP. On another note, yes I agree the AI looked horrid. The humanoid AI that is. The beasts in the wild were fine and working but the humanoids... wow that was terrible. One thing though is that I am happy to see that shit can kill you rather quickly if you don't play it smart.

Seems like we wont have a solid game experience with that game, im pretty sure they wont be able to fix all the bugs and stuff. Atleast i dont have faith in them.

Same though for me it was near Bestine, being an Imperial and all.

there is no point of having first person view "option"..

if there is an option to go 3rd person, everyone will just be using 3rd person. it is just incredibly easier to fight in 3rd person, as you eliminate all blind spots of 1st person view. that's why ALL first person games don't have any other options. i get it that a lot of people don't like the difficulty of 1st person view, and also like to look at themselves, but you might as well just make it a 3rd person game then.

i myself like the immersion of first person view. there is immersion of not knowing what's behind you. i would have rather they made it 1st person view only, much like most other survival games out there.

I disagree, there are times when FPV works best, there are times when third person does (especially in PVP)... FPS is great for centering in on things like during resource gathering, etc...

IF I have the option I will certainly use both, I prefer having the option over not. Be it Elder Scrolls games, ESO, Life is Feudal, GTA 5 on PC, etc... It also opens the game up to different types of players, some simply can't do FPV, as it causes them motion sickness and other issues like that.

Looks a bit cheap. Not a fan of first person view at all.

What made AoC great was 3rd person camera and combat.
It has both first person and 3rd person camera view
