Seriously, though, I'm 6'0" and I tend to vacillate between 145 and 150 lbs over time. I used to really be into going to the gym, freeweights et cetera in my 20s, then I weighed maybe 165 lbs, at most.
I've never really had to think too much about it.

I work for a college. I workout at the gym there and out lift most of the college age students. I hit the track for 2 to 3 miles, several times a week with a friend. I am a hair short of 6 foot tall and I weigh 215 pounds. My doctor says I am 2 pounds into the obesity range for my age bracket (45 to 55).
I say F-it, if you are happy with the way you look, dont dwell on your weight or looks. I met Vanessa Williams at the Olympic village back in 1996 when she was there promoting her movie "Eraser". I also met Brook Shields in a coffee shop there, I didnt recognize either one without the extensive makeup and photoshoping that goes on with movies and pictures.

Yup Im chubby but not because of MMOs. Only time in my life I wasnt chubby was in the military, but now due to my own inactivity and very Sedentary Job its difficult to stay in shape.
Just because I'm a gamer doesn't mean I drive a Honda.
This is a funny thread and something tells me not to reply but I'm going to anyway. Its called metabolism. some people could gain 2-4 pounds a week pretty easily, some people could only gain an ounce a week. And some people could gain way more than 2-4 pounds a week.
The acronym MMORPG use to mean Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game.
But the acronym MMMORPG now currently means Microscopic Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. Kappa.
I weigh the same as I did in high school 40 years ago. 5'10, 190, 36" waist. The one time I tried to get to 175 in order to wear 34" jeans I couldn't get them on because of the size of my legs.

why we would be more fat ?? because we play computer games or because you have watch south park and you think everyone like ''this'' guy ??
im going gym 3x week, totaly in shape, and before you ask the next question : im not a virgin and im good with girl, also got a real life !!
Ah , yes . not because i watch south park , but most of time we talk about old MMORPG vs new MORPG, so call "this guy" image are always being use to tell that people who play being fat .
That's why i want to ask a question if we ready "fat" cause playing MMORPG (and games). Because i lost pretty much weight in older day of MMORPG gaming .

Unintended weight loss can be a sign of depression, just like social isolation. If you consider playing MMORPGs a form of isolation, I'd look at those two factors in conjunction. It'd be a 'red flag' to me.
Merry Christmas!

Wow! Some people got a little testy because of this question. It IS an odd question. I am not overweight (by definition). Do I know quite a few gamers who could lose a pound or two? Yes. However I do not know how much of it can be attributed to gaming. There are other factors like diet, genetics, and environment.
It highly depends on the type of gamer. There are the gamers who forget to eat for hours because they are enthralled in the game. They tend to be underweight due to burning off more fat than ingested calories. Then there are the ones who snake on things at their desk. They tend to be overweight because they do not burn off the ingested calories. I watched a video where they suggest eating only once a day so your body can take the time to burn fat calories instead of ingested calories. Your body needs something like 16 hours before it starts burning off fat, or it needs to have depleted the calories it has ingested through rigorous activity.
Why do you care and why is it anyones business? And for the record, yes I am. I was in a severe car accident in 2004 that broke my left leg into pieces and had to relearn how to walk. I'm also under doctors orders not to lift more than 10-15 lbs though I requently do because who can live like that? I've also undergone recent major surgery removing a large part of my insides. Exercise isn't really a good idea at the moment. I'd love to lose weight, but any form of exercise could actually hurt me at the moment by tearing the stitches inside. And I'm tired of being told how I should eat. A person cannot live on lettuce and carrots alone. Idiots keep telling me "go swimming" well guess what... I'm terrified of the water so no. Once I'm healed I intend on exercising so I don't end up looking like a tub. I'm also 40 years old, and what will happen now since the surgery means that I will gain weight extremely easily and its going to be very difficult to lose it. Part of being a woman when you can longer have children after they removed the parts for it.

5'8" 175 lbs here. I teach martial arts so it keeps me in shape. I like to run everyday
What do you teach? I've practiced off and on over the years since college.
I'm mainly interested in them as a form of spiritual, mental, and physical improvement. I began with traditional Japanese Jujutsu, then Cuong Nhu and Capoeira. The social aspect is really enjoyable, and the physical and mental benefits are undeniable.
I guess in my journey I've struggled with the perceived dichotomy between the "martial" aspect and personal growth; learning how to do things like joint-locks and throws was initially about self-defense for me (where I went to college was surrounded by a rough neighborhood) then as I progressed and earned ranks it became more about form and discipline, which eventually turned into an ego-driven thing for me in an unhealthy way. Important to note that there was nothing wrong with the arts themselves, it was just how it affected me at that point in my journey.
Capoeira was a welcome change in direction because it was so unlike anything else; more of a lighthearted "dance" or "game", however it's really similar to most other arts in the social aspect.
Now I'm at a point where I'm straddling the decision to study "nothing", swallow my ego and pick up where I left off (Cuong Nhu would be the most likely due to geographical location: it's a pastiche of Shotokan, Vovinam, Wing Chun and boxing, or Capoeira although I've always found this to be physically taxing to the point where I would nearly hurl after practice for like the first three months), or try something new altogether like Tai Chi.
I don't want to hurt anyone, but I've always felt that practicing martial arts is something I have aptitude for. I know I will continue to develop, regardless, and I hope for it to be in a good way.

1.90m here and around 85 kg, I watch my diet and exercise regularly but god damn I play MMORPGS a lot. That said. The few times I've binged on mmorpgs too much I found that they become less and less interesting and fun. For me to really enjoy them you need to balance them so they don't become the center of your entertainment and time. Staying healthy and in shape is a lot more important then attending that guild raid.

Yeah, I'd be classed as fat.

Ikcin in response to yours sincerely debating whether or not single-player offline MMOs exist...
'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'

I do mostly swimming & running for sports, currently I'm more engaged in scuba diving than I'm playing MMO's.
That said, I used to play a lot more MMO's and when I did so in a hardcore fashion, I also tended to weigh more. It got up to 79kg at one point.
Still not considered fat I think, but I did get out of shape at one point.
