If they are making a trash game, they will have to deal with it.
The *hate* doesn't come from the sky but from their actions,.Don't forget, WE are the customers, THEY have to give us a good product with high standards if not, well.. not my problem.

This game is trash and there is a lot of example on google.
    Have fun reading them all.

FWIW, we'll be re-reviewing SotA at official launch too.

Try to be excellent to everyone you meet. You never know what someone else has seen or endured.

Nowhere on their Steam page does it say the game is released. In fact it explicitly says the opposite. No wipes and taking money doesn't mean released no matter how much the entitled gamer feels it to be true. In fact that is something @BillMurphy and MMORPG invented to appease their readership. It doesn't make it true though. The game is still undergoing changes, contains known issues, and not all systems will be in place. That disclosure is still there, but you and others are willfully choosing to ignore it. FIne, but you're not changing reality by putting your fingers in your ears and saying "make it so!".

Pretty much EVERY MMO that's alive and not in life-support mode is "still undergoing changes, contains known issues, and (often times) not all systems will be in place (at least in terms of how often times new systems get introduced eventually)."

That's why MMORPG.com counts an MMO as "released" once it stops wiping and starts taking money.  Because EVERY MMO in existance "stops wipes" and "is taking money" while "still undergoing changes and contains known issues and, usually, is introducing new systems".

"Starts taking money" and "stops making wipes" is the easiest line to draw for considering a game "released" because at that point you're matching what every other MMORPG is doing.

So, anyone who doesn't share the same opinion as you do is a puppet? That's some greaaaaat logic right there. GG

What blows my mind is how people can be so critical of an unfinished product. Early access is definitely not for everyone, especially when they don't understand how development works. Trolls gotta be trolls though, there is no reasoning with them.
    Please dude....

This game has been in development since March 2003, 6 years!
Even by Indie standards that's a long time considering that the game is still in Alpha state.
Indie games that started development years after SotA are in better shape than this game.

Even though it has been in EA for 6 months, it showed no evident sign of improvement. all they do is keep adding Cash Shop items, mostly ridiculous cosmetic gear, and some more houses.
By now the game should have some kind of substance.
Instead Portalarium shows a lacks of vision, throwing to the arena a game which looks dated already, with half of its features missing, lots of bugs, and frankly giving the impression that they don't know what they are doing.

Way to blatantly lie how long it's been in development. 2003? Really? Try 2013, you lie because you have no valid argument.
