Can you believe it? 2017 is less than a week away! Although it wasn't perfect, 2016 was a pretty great year for wizards in the spiral. Just last month, Wizard101's newest update introduced the desert world of Mirage and a new max level of 120. Other notable additions were divide and conquer spells, pip conversion, and faction vendors.

Nobody is telling anyone to come over and post. The answer to your skepticism is that Wizard101 has a very diffferent audience than what this site is geared to. Most Wizard101 players don't have a reason to be a regular on this site because they are either very young or only play family games. Therefore, it's unrealistic to expect them to post frequently on sites such as this. MMORPG is a more "hardcore" site after all. A good majority of Wizard101 commenters see a Wizard101 post, log in to comment, and then leave. The KingsIsle community is a very positive and supporting one -hence the positive comments. I've been in the community for 4 years now.
While I agree with the positive community with Wizard 101, Kingsisle and the community have several times posted to come to this forum when a Wizard 101 promotion of sorts, voting for their game for whatever reason and a many other times for different reasons. I have personally seen them many times, but I am not sure if this is the case with this post here. I was there way back in 2008 when the game was first went live and have played on and off. If I am not mistaken mmorpg and Kingisle do in fact or did have a promotional partnership. Many times it does feel and seem like shameless promotion to me as well. There is also a very consistent pattern of single and low post users who post about wizard 101. When you look deeper, you see many of the low post accounts are only posting about Wizard 101 itself, so psychosiz's observation was valid. Whether anyone cares or not, Kingsisle is going through some difficult times now and did some very heavy restructuring internally to keep things afloat. I don't think this means they are closing anytime soon, but rather keeping the business model in the black as much as possible.
I definitely agree that the observation was valid, I just thought it was unrealistic to expect most Wizard101 players to be consistently active on a site like this. The two don't necessarily go hand in hand.
I have noticed that some posts are shared by official KingsIsle accounts, but I just assumed that was common practice among all games. If a site is talking about their game, it would make sense to share it (at least to me). Then again, I'm not very well versed in other MMOs so I could be mistaken.
