good for you! you and me both need to get more active I have been bad for years now (I blame MMO's!)...I was heafty as a teen (way too much junk food) but have been thin for the last 20 years since freshmen year in college -  perhaps a bit on the low side at 6'0'', 140...

I'm not, but I've definitely gained weight since I stopped playing MMOs regularly after about 12 years of doing it.   When I had a regular play schedule and routine, it was much easier to control portions and to schedule exercise around the gaming.

Now that I am do different things every day, I tend to eat whatever and wherever and exercise doesn't always happen.  Gaming also kept my attention on something and often made me forego snacks and such.

What criteria are we using for "fat"?

    Its a laregely subjective term.

If you have to ask, you are probably fat, LOL

This somewhat reminds me on this stereotype situation in which a girl wants to hook up some guy with her best friend that he hasn't yet met.

The guy asks: "How does she look? Is she fat??"

And the girl replies "Oh, she is a real sweetheart!"

You usually know what you are getting into then....

I do not watch my diet!  I can eat pizza, tacos, cake, pie everyday.  I play video games as often as I can.  I eat fried foods every other day.  My favorite is macaroni and cheese puffs with buttermilk ranch dressing.  I also love my Rockstars!

I am 6'1 and weigh between 200-215 pounds at varied times of the  year.  Depending on the season.  I do not really gain much weight as I  power walk between 13-20 miles 4-6 times a week.  I am also quite a bit more healthy than many people.  Especially those crazy naturalist(vegan, organic nutty types) people who for some reason end up with messed up internal organs or dementia by the time they reach 65.

When you get down to it.  It is a genetic thing.  Because by all accounts I should be a 300+ pound sloth due to my gaming habits!

Well, I've been to science fiction conventions.  Reading books and watching movies are as sedentary as playing video games.  But there are lots of people on the average-to-underweight side of the spectrum at science fiction conventions.
I want to help design and develop a PvE-focused, solo-friendly, sandpark MMO which combines crafting, monster hunting, and story.  So PM me if you are starting one.

Regardess of whether you are or not, I say playing MMORPG's is letting out your inner fatty. Jiggle those chins, people.

Nope I'm a gym fanatic, eat more but less and move around. When I going on hols or summer time I'll diet for 8 weeks. Seven meals a day every two to three hours to speed up metabolism.

That with a course of Anavar and I'm cut to fuck the within 8 weeks. When I'm not doing all that I'm still pretty lean. I go gym five days a week and sometimes on a Saturday as well depending if I'm going out that evening. I'll go to town on arms and chest to keep pump.

To be honest I do notice a lot of fat people when I go to GamesCom especially round the mmo stands.

I got fat. But not because of MMOs. Because having kids and a sedentary busy job leave nowhere near enough time for my old biking habit. I need to eat like I'm motionless... like the sloth I am.

Like this ? Ah no, sorry, that's a SLUG with a sedentary busy crime lord job ;)

(little nod in memory of Carrie Fisher... who hated wearing the bikini, but loved killing Jabba)

For some reason I loved the bikini but Jabba got his just deserts. Not many women become the cultural icon of their age, gone far too soon.

I loved the Star Wars movies growing up and through Carrie Fisher was beautiful.  I was always a bit disappointed with the way things turned out with Luke and Leia.  There seemed to be something wrong with the way the story was written originally.  I feel like the story was kind of done on the fly as it seemed like George Lucas was heavily hinting at a Luke/Leia romance in the first movie.  Then he makes them twin brother and sister in the second movie.  Then Darth Vader becomes Luke's father.  It also seems impromptu.

When I saw Carrie in her metal bikini as a teenager it was fairly stimulating if I recall.  Perhaps too much for someone who is at that stage of their life.  I later read she hated George Lucas for making her wear that outfit because she had to exercise and get into better shape.  Fun times.

I was fat at one point and I played MMORPG's so I guess so, but now I'm 33 and run 5 miles a day and do calisthenics. Not fat anymore.

Not really, there are clinical definitions of bodyfat % for various 'weight categories.'  This is not a matter of 'I see myself as...' type of a thing.
Not really.  You can have two people that are 5'8 and both weigh 150 lbs but have tremendously different body compositions. "Fat" is not a scientific term and is subjectively applied.

I am out of shape 190 down from 210 from an initially rail thin 170.  Certainly feel fat and flabny but most think i am skinny for my height 6'3.

If I'm purchasing tickets to see skinny bodies I am definitely not en route to a gaming convention.

    ...this is getting weird.

I'm fat, my ears are hairy and my teeth are falling out. I smoke two packs a day, never exercise and drink cheap whiskey at night to help me sleep.
I order pizza almost every day and haven't left the apartment in 3 weeks. I only ever go out to buy new cartons about once a month, it's always an adventure.
Between MMOs, movies and darkweb porn, I keep myself busy.
    Life is good.

I'm not fat.  I'm 6'0, 175.  I train bjj between 8-12 hours a week.  I eat a high protein diet, no fast food or soda, chips, what have you.  No alcohol or drugs (though not averse to a little smoke every once in a while).  I keep my weight between 170-180.  If I suffer an injury, meniscus, broken rib, torn tendons, impacted discs, my weight might go up by 2-3 lbs while I recover.  I'm over 40 so my body tends to break a little more easily than it used to.
