Overwatch players have a new and interestingly fun map to check out with today's launch of the Oasis map. Not only do players have to watch out for one another, but also the speeding cars along the causeway.

Ppl actually still play this thingy?
"going into arguments with idiots is a lost cause, it requires you to stoop down to their level and you can't win"
Yep, and it's definitely more than just a few. It's virtually all I've played since release, and typically I stay far away from fps games.
More then ever. It keeps growing on a daily basis , I swear.
First of all,if you have to buy the map, then BS,shame on greedy Blizzard.Secondly ,have they given out source and allow a modding community to advance this game?
Ok to the map now.
It looks really good as a piece of art work, not bad for game play but not great either but it gets a passing grade.I have a real gut feeling this map was outsourced because it looks nothing like a Blizzard team design or effort.
The textures could be of higher quality, too bad but it still looks decently good.
If free,then kudos ,i give it a 7-8/10.
If you have to buy it,BAH,still a 6/10 but totally lame.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
If it is free, then great,it is a good looking map but still Blizzard should be aiding a modding community that would really turn this game up a notch.
BTW does anyone know if Blizzard made the map or was it outsourced?

Over 20 mil player, dont forget its also on the xbone and ps4.
Its just fun login que and do some rated games.

Overwatch hit the 20 million user mark faster than any other game in Blizzard's history, breaking Diablo 3's record as the fastest-selling PC game in China, and surpassing League of Legends in Korean internet cafes with a 30 percent share.
Not bad right?:P
I highly doubt Overwatch is beating LoL anywhere. LoL earned 1.7 billion last year, Overwatch earned 550mil in it's launch year. I'm willing to bet most of it was from the copies sold, and that Overwatch's revenue won't top 100mil in 2017. Seriously don't be naive, all of Blizzard's games combined are still far from LoL's revenue.
Also Overwatch isn't growing, but is rather declining fast (like all Blizzard games, except perhaps HS).
Oh and can someone explain me how did Overwatch only earn 550mil with 20+ mil copies sold? I remember Skyrim selling that amount with 1.2 billion of revenue. Something is very fishy here. Either a lot of that is actually registered accounts, or there is a large portion of it's playerbase that never actually purchased the game. Is it China again?
Take every FPS there is , look at what classes / weapons / moves people played the most. Make a game where every character is one of this combos.
Now take every map in every FPS game, and see what was the best. Copy
They cant go wrong.
This new map is total copy of Quake - and its awesome mayhem.
And they just keep adding stuff.
Who ever is not playing Overwatch (it was 20$ for holidays) is nuts
And apperently people like you still ask these type of questions. It is sad...
I self identify as a monkey.
Sorry that deserved an LOL. Research it first before just babbling your Blizz hate.
