/sigh, dang might actually have to redownload this time. Its so hard to just want to enjoy this game since it always feel like they can put out "The game will be shutting down" at any moment.

I was hoping for more actual content, instead of them adding some grind-system to the little endgame content there is.
I guess this progression system is supposed to direct non-raiders into the raids and to get battlegrounds going again.

But then, i'm just talking out of my b*tt here and have to check out the details before going all negative nancy on this.

Apparently coming with two new instances as well, and they did just launch a big new zone a few months back no?

Interesting, finally something to work towards after 50. At least it's better than a gear grind. Just as long as I don't have to engage in PvP or those raids (I have no idea how they work).

It does look interesting, and i would like to go back to Wildstar.. i just feel so uncertain about their future.

This sort of AA system is what keeps me coming back to ESO month after month. Rift has it too, EQ2, etc. If you're a level-based game, this sort of continuous progression is essential to me. I wish GW2 had gone this route instead of Masteries.

Man, other than optimization issues, I enjoyed my time in Wildstar (found the PvP fun, especially)..  The only thing holding me back from jumping in is the looming expiration date we all expect.  I'd hate to spend a month leveling a character only to get a close announcement.

So...  Bill...  Any chance during the next interview with the team that you could sneak in a question about long-term business outlook????   :p

Everyone questions their future but those "outlooks" projected the game to come down last year. If anyone who was interested our liked the game even played just casually, they could see a better future. They have made changes overall for the better imo - entirely different game from launch and that isn't an easy thing to do. To each their own, but Wildstar has always had potential; hopefully the devs there and gamers alike can make that shine more.

I didn't know W* was still going, crazy.  Well MadFrenchie, I'd say if they haven't closed the doors yet then it's probably going to stick around for a good while.

Well better late than never.Funny how i see so many systems that Square Enix introduced many years ago and devs finally picking up on them. This type of idea is a FFX idea, yes it is ok,does give players something to advance towards instead of typical level numbers. However it is also just a TREE design,we have all seen it a hundred times,it is never game changing or game breaking.

However the reason why gaming and math and numbers never go well together is because the end result is the same,no developer is ever going to give you something to put you over the top of the content.

Is there a better answer than this or gear grinds,i guess not really, not unless as i aid a developer will allow a player to o/p the content and if not, then yeah it's really meaningless.Sort of think characterization, you spend hours with sliders only to cover up your player with gear, you see a wasted effort.

This is why i prefer content and i mean real interactive, bring out the masses content.A dungeon??zzzzzzz oh hell no,that is more of the same old,a dungeon is not going to get a Wow player of 10 years to stand up and say "Whoa WS has a new dungeon,i'll quit Wow and go play WS".

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Not a revolution by any means but a great addition nonetheless and a fair bit more than the haters ever expected

You should edit the main post with that info, the 2 new instances, and the Mythic+ like feature.

Could not agree more. I REALLY enjoy the game, but I'm reluctant to pay for a sub for this exact reason. I hate investing my time or money if it's just going to be forgotten or abandoned by the devs.

I like WS a lot and every change/addition they made looks towards the right direction. But, there is still a huge thing needed to be done in order to attract more ppl and make this game alive once again. It needs optimization and until they make the game run smooth they wont see ppl stay. Ppl will only return and leave, no matter the content additions.
