UPDATE: We have received word from Nexon about the rumors swirling around Nexon America (see below):
Rich Williams has announced he will be leaving Nexon America at the end of the month to start his own marketing firm. We’re pleased to say Nexon America will be his first client. Jungsoo Lee, who is currently the executive director of live games and has been with Nexon America since he helped establish this subsidiary in 2006, will be promoted to lead the company moving forward.
We have begun to hear some rumblings of an as-yet unconfirmed rumor that there is a shake up underway at Nexon America. According to sources, an executive from Nexon Korea will be taking over management for all games currently being run by Nexon America and that the NA executive leadership is on its way out. For now, it seems that current and planned games in 2017 will be unaffected by the change.
We have reached out to Nexon for a statement regarding the rumor and will update this article as we obtain additional information.

Perhaps this might be a good thing after all, and it might mean that Nexon NA may be able to get its hands on some interesting titles published by Nexon KR. Or perhaps it will be horrible and create a bigger mess of things. Only time will tell.
Terrible, terrible company. Though I'm not sure if Nexon Korea is any better..

It takes a special kind of gift to drive the incredibly-successful-in-Korea Dungeon Fighter Online to the ground. One so special that even its own creators ended up ressurecting the game in the West purely out of love despite knowing it couldn't make a decent profit after Nexon's screw-up simply because they couldn't bear to have it die such an undignified death from Nexon's amazing incompetence and greed.
As for Neople self-publishing the game, I get the impression it was more of a test for them to see if they could do it. I'm guessing they're still running a profit with the game at least, seeing how often they're updating it, which is great.
XIGNCode 3 is used by a lot of games and there's nothing wrong with it. It's fairly standard anti cheat software, that looks at your computer when you're playing a game and does absolutely nothing when you're not.
