The Intrepid Studios team conducted an in-house Q&A based on questions they have seen cropping up around the 'Net since the introduction of Ashes of Creation. Topics include how the player community will be integral in carving its own path through the game, hidden stories that can be uncovered throughout the world and how guilds will function in the game.

Wow. They look comfortable! Great atmosphere and dynamic! HYPE. Great philosophy on the design theory also.

Well, color me impressed yet again by this little marvel of a game I only found out existed a month ago. More straightforward, direct, and clearer answers there than the vast majority of Q&A's I've heard from mmo developers before. Yet, a lot of what they talked about seemed hypothetical, as in not created yet so words are wind cough"Star Citizen"cough, let's hope they pull it off.

"With this in mind, we plan on starting a Kickstarter in the near future." In the first blog, so.. yes.

Atleast they have more than "just a concept" before starting a kickstart. 4 trailers and a Q&A in 1 month. Better than most of these "kickstarter" projects already.

I had t ofind an actual video to get a better idea of the game, the Q/A did nothing for me.

After watching the video it does look cool, good graphics, i see some nice assets one i don't like and that is that warp portal thingy looks way out of place for a game with swords and shields.

The one area i don't like and it is one of my bigger peeves is the combat.I cannot stand seeing 3 mobs tied together on a string, the same Ai,absolutely hate when i see that,,ahem SWTOR and EQ series. Is there a problem with ONE and the other mobs might individually link.See FFXI mob AI creation if you want to understand how to do it properly and why i keep playing FFXI because most games have not a clue how to do combat.

The positive is i did see a natural looking speed to the combat,so they got that right,i HATE spam and i hate ARPG dumb looking combat,so yeah they got that part down.

There still seems to be some fake looking ideals and i need things to make sense.Example i see the large burning structures, well how on earth did they start on fire and obviously you would expect it to burn down, which it won't.This is my other ideal i look for in games, plausible realism.

So for me personally,it looks like it could be good but i am just not sure they really "get it"when comes to creating a plausible immersive world.Yes it is nice to say things like player actions/movements decide on the automated part of the game, however that is just a mechanic,it needs to be done right and is actually really tough to pull off.So i can't complain that they are at least trying.Main thing for me,FIX THE COMBAT ..AI/MOBS on a string.
