The latest in a series of Conan Exiles developer blogs has been posted, this time taking a look at some of the creatures players can expect to encounter. Common and uncommon critters will inhabit the game world, each also being eligible for hunting, killing and harvesting resources. From rabbits to crocodiles to humanoid imps to gazelle, rhinos and ostriches, the land is filled with wildlife. But beware, all isn't docile and pretty.

I'm slowly getting more excited for this. It's really sounding great, but I worry that early access will be bare.

Sounds good to me. It will be my first survival-game and behind all that marketing yackety-yak there seem to be some features that remind me of the good ol' days of UO ... so I'm slightly hyped

Been excited about this one awhile, i don't disagree about early access issues being in there im just glad that they pushed the EA on this last year to polish it some before going EA. If any of you remember this was was originally slated for EA back around sept of last year.

There's nothing like the feeling of anticipating having fun in a new game. This should be a very interesting experience.

No, we - well, I - don't. I was at the Early Access of Age of Conan, and it was okay. Not flawless but good enough

    Not necessarily.

I played Age of Conan and The Secret World at launch. Yup, there were issues. But not really "game breaking" for me.

Definitely some annoyances but I also had my fun. Would have preferred and actual Conan game closer to what this is.

Seeing as Funcom is going all in with the Conan IP it would be cool if they do a Conan ARPG sometime in the future.

I like that i can play Single player as well if I just want to chill and not have to deal with anyone else. ! This is wishlisted on my steam and I know i won't be able to resist trying it . I still play The Secret World from time to time. And I've enjoyed funcoms other titles quite a lot. Don't see why I won't like this one as much !

I'm cautiously awaiting this. While I've liked all that I've seen thus far...Ark really killed the survival genre for me. I'll probably pick it up to play with some friends for a bit until I get sick of doing in game chores. :P

Honestly, it depends on how much they're asking for. If it's $25 or less, I might crack and pick it up.

it was a bit of a downer to read on steam they are wiping or planning on wiping the official servers every month. Thats just a nogo for me.

I don't suppose running screaming every time like the devil is on my heels is a strategy in this game. I could probably max out that skill. /shudder at the spider.
