Marvel Heroes 2016 players will want to jump into what feels almost like a brand new game thanks to today's deployment of the Biggest Update Ever. The new patch brings a boatload of changes to talents, items and brings the new Infinity System and Difficulty Slider into the game as well.

    Dr. Strange is still weak IMHO, that or I suck at glass cannons. Redid prologue on Herioc lol.

    What's the point of giving Luke Cage so many mutually-exclusive summon talents within the same two tiers?   Non-summoner Luke Cages are forced to take summoner talents because there are no non-summoner talents in those tiers for them to take instead, and summoners are forced to not take most of them because you're only allowed to take one talent in each Tier, and all the summon talents are in the same tiers.

    The usual simplifying patch that strips customization. They actually used the phrase "we’ve made things as direct and simple as possible", cause god forbid someone has to make a choice.

    For like two years now? I havent played the game recently, but he used to be one of my favourites. His VO and ability effects are awesome.

    Story's a bit hosed right now - gets broken with all the changes they made to the chapters. But otherwise, I love the new Loki. He's a beast. Spidey feels a bit underpowered, but maybe that's just because I was so used to wrecking things on normal and Hard is, well... hard.

    The only hero I own is the Cap and the free Hawkeye that came out when the game was first released; but I'm curious to try Cap out again.

    Change is hard. As a relative newcomer to the game (72 hours on Steam), I love it. Travel Powers were abused a lot, now the quick "wind-up" to use them is like a time-to-cast for mounts. It's different, but it works. You actually have to use abilities to dodge and miss AOEs now. People are also balking at one hotbar, but again - it's nice to think about your build and not have to spend pointless (ironic) skill points to make each one. Overall, these changes simplify the basic level-up process, but deepen the builds you can create.

    That's why I take reviews with a grain of salt.  People inherently dislike change.  But it seems like they all hit on the same notes which is why I bring it up.  Why should a speed character (say, Nightcrawler) be the same speed as say the Hulk?  All in all, I might pop back on just to try it but lately iOS gaming is where it seems to be.  Cheaper, more of it, and disposable.

    Still over 4 hours left on the download for me.  I'm curious how they changed the travel powers for Scarlet Witch -- I'm pretty dependent on them.  Guess I'll have to check on Colossus again, too.

    Aye, and the recharge is fast, and in many cases you can alter powers with talents.
